Aquantia patches are compatible with Tahoe. We just need to change MaxKernel to 25.99.99, which has been done in my GitHub repo:

https://github.com/CaseySJ/Aquantia-macOS-Patches

Thank you Casey_S.J., this is really nice of you to answer, I change to to 25.99.99 but the speed is 700KB/S with Aquantia 107

What Speed are you seeing?

I see, 1000 BaseT, every time I change it to 10GB it will change to 1000 BaseT

A couple of questions:

  • Is your computer connected to a 10GbE network switch or hub?
  • Are you using an Intel Hackintosh with VT-d (AppleVTD) disabled?
    • If so, try enabling VT-d (AppleVTD) and disabling the Aquantia patches. Do you get 10Gb connection now?
  • Are you using Patch Set #2? This is the preferred patch set:

Is this with AppleVTD disabled and the Aquantia patches enabled? If so, glad to hear it!

Does AirDrop/Handoff work properly for you with Beta 4

Handoff is working fine here - i think Airdrop only works with an airport adapter (because of AWDL).

I'm using a Asus USB AC53 Dongle for WiFi and a DELL DW1830 for Bluetooth.

No no. My bad. I was talking about my Desktop setup which uses the BCM943602CDP WiFi card with a dedicated PCIe adapter. So it would normally work with OCLP. But I forgot we don't have WiFi yet. So only BT is working and if I'm not mistaken, AirDrop needs both. So yeah, without WiFi working, it's normal not to work.

Yeah, I forgot we don't have Broadcom WiFi yet (I'm using the BCM943602CDP card with a PCIe adapter). I remember we were able to use Handoff via Ethernet, right? As long as it's the same Apple ID and same network. That doesn't seem to work (or not anymore). Anyway, thank you very much for your answer.

I am using a BCM94360CD and Airdrop seems to be working on Tahoe Beta 4.

Everything implemented in EFI and config.plist as suggested for OCLP under Sequoia. I also see my personal iPhone hotspot. Just no way to connect due to the missing OCLP WIFI patch under Tahoe.

@Casey_S.J., implementing Set 2 of your Aquantia patches with OCC

 image.thumb.png.ca7d05cae8e3e031bbbbe25d573b0ff4.png

reveals the following errors with ocvalidate

NOTE: This version of ocvalidate is only compatible with OpenCore version 1.0.5!

Kernel->Patch[9]->Replace requires ReplaceMask to be active for corresponding bits!
Kernel->Patch[10]->Replace requires ReplaceMask to be active for corresponding bits!
CheckKernel returns 2 errors!

Completed validating /Volumes/EFI/EFI/OC/config.plist in 3 ms. Found 2 issues requiring attention.

Any thoughts on that?

Airdrop seems to be working

I doubt it 😉

Airdrop transmits data via Apple Wireless Direct Link, which is basically an ad hoc connection between the WiFi adapters.

You may find an airdrop capable device, this part works via Bluetooth LE, but you will not be able to send.

That's what is the case. Everything is set but no connectivity due to the missing OCLP WIFI patch.

Those warnings have been present ever since the patches were created, so there’s this footnote in the GitHub ReadMe:

Thanks, my friend, for the message. Which AppleALC.kext do I need to install? Can you send me this AppleALC.kext? That seems to be the problem that it's not working. And can I also install this AppleALC.kext with your MyKextInstaller?

Excuse me, you're on a Genuine Mac, aren't you?
Skip the AppleALC step. Although you are using OCLP, aren't you?

Ok, Try including AppleaAlC in your EFI folder and setting its startup correctly in your config.plist.

This is already in my EFi activated.

The question is, why did it work without problems in beta3

Would a clean installation change anything?
