@Anto65 Am I missing something? It's like working but it doesn't find any WiFi network??

Good morning, beautiful people
Here we are already at 30 degrees and it's only 8 in the morning 🥵

Thanks for trying it's obviously not ready yet ... I think it's not long now though

Thanks for that 😭

Exactly middle of winter down here. Cold, windy and flooding and it's 6pm. Have to stay inside and out of danger for the next few days so there's that I guess... I may have finally got things working by turning my USB map into an aml in sequoia so not sure what to do until Monday.

I have a BCM card but I am sorry I will not be testing this package for Audio or Wifi if the whole program is in chinese and no way of changing it to English.

Like where did this dev come from? What rep do they have?

No offence but hard pass.

I would much prefer wait for official OCLP

Hi
You're welcome, no one is offended
Well anyway it's all public there's the link for Git
the Repo, Code ... it's all public
But I understand you Dortania is and remains a guarantee
You have absolutely no obligation,

Not having the BMC anymore
I had no way to try

Yesterday just for the spirit of trying , I patched AppleHDA and it works and it doesn't seem to me that I've put up malicious code ... I don't find any anomalies 👋

I'm not a developer, but reading the commit made me go crazy 😁 thinking it was already ready

Update of Sequoia 15.5 for Tahoe beta 2, X99 P4, Xeon E5 2680, RX550 (Lexa Fake id), update was successful, but when the Hdmi finished, black screen, and DP started working as primary video!

to enable the codecs I used boot args -radcodec.

Do you mean you did run Tahoe with iMacPro1.1.  I was told it is incompatible . Would you mind to share your EFI ?

Yes it is not compatible, you should switch to macPro7.1

If you want to keep iMacPro1.1  ( like strangeron ) you need to apply the patch, here

I'm also making progress with Mandarin, especially with the help of my teacher 😅

I've had it on since yesterday ( I like to experiment... I have a clean image of Tahoe saved )

I don't detect anything harmful and everything works like in the old days 🙂 🎶

Yesterday, reading the last commit, I was getting my hopes up about Wi-Fi, but I think it's almost there

Thanks @Anto65 , I already applied the booter/patch recommended by you and @strangeron and it works .  I may misunderstood his statement " metal used smbios MacPro 7.1 lower if using iMac Pro 1.1" and his snapshot was clearly showing that he has run Geekbench with İmacPro1.1 on Tahoe. I thought he meant he tested both iMacPro1.1 and macPro7.1 in Tahoe. It seems purely I am dreaming it to be true. I am not happy with the responsivess of Tahoe while Sonoma & Sequoia are very snappy.

If you have any questions, please let me know and I have a USB-SSD adapter ready so you don't have to play with fire, or in my country, with soda.

Where on Earth did you got the translation from???

As it scrolled past, I had to close one eye and pretend I knew what those characters were and meant.

I only manage the correct buttons to press from memory of the English version OCLP.

Even then praying I didn't screw up the Tahoe installation in the process.

Maybe I didn't understand or I expressed myself badly
There is my language teacher (Image to Text and Google Translate) 😂
that gives me a big hand

Capture the image in question and convert it to text here

https://www.imagetotext.info/

Then feed the text to the Translator

@eSaF  Why didn't you opt for VoodooHda ?

Without taking anything away it works great and is less invasive ... I think OCLP

and anyway it's always a good thing , when we have everything working and configured to make a system image to restore , without having to reinstall everything again

( with R-Drive 5/8 min. to create it , 5 min. to restore it )

... since we can't keep our hands still 😅

VoodooHDA is a good solution. However, I have Ventura, Sequoia and Tahoe with the same EFI. If I remove AppleALC.kext I will have to install VoodooHDA on all of them. So I looked for another solution.😂

Hi @ajo Just my opinion. If I understand well : OCLP-Mod commit 9c715c6 (15-06-2025): Remove Modern WiFi patches on Tahoe, fix memory detect of WebDrivers on Tahoe. So logically, Broadcom Wireless can't be patched at this moment. 🥲 Today,

Commit ed0f1c2: Remove RealtekWL detection, translated more strings.

Wait and see for updates.

This is what I got before and after applying the last commit of the OCLP-Mod root patch. Same issue, no detection of any network apart from my iPhone from time to time... No Wifi patch at all, which confirms what I have seen from the dialog during the latest patching.

Ok, I was able to fix black screen after wake. I'm using both, NootRx and WeG kexts.

Now I can boot to Sequoia and Ta-Whoe and do a fresh install with a single EFI.

Everything is working now as it should. Waiting for WiFi patch now.

It was a bumpy road indeed.
