MacPro7,1 and iMacPro1,1 share some Hackintosh-related specifications. Both lack an iGPU and can benefit from CPUFriend (this may not be the case in all cases, but it is in your SMBIOS with RaptorLake).

The SecureBootModel issue is the same in both SMBIOS. Although my hardware is quite different from yours, when I test MacPro7,1 or iMacPro1,1, I use the same EFI, with the only differences being the serial numbers and the CPUFriendDataProvider.kext that I generate on each system.

Continuity camera doesn't work for me since Sonoma. Not even in 15.4.

I don't have the Simulator issue.

Do you have latest VirtualSMC.kext?

Updated to 15.4.1 and everything went smoothly, but I noticed the "Sleep" option is now grayed out.
Is it just me, or did Apple disable it for some mysterious reason?

 

 

UPDATE: I guess I fixed it??

Back in the day, there used to be a .plist file in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration called com.apple.PowerManagement.plist. I noticed it was missing on my system.

Still, I tried an old command I used years ago:
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement SystemPowerSettings -dict SleepDisabled -bool NO

Running that command recreated the com.apple.PowerManagement.plist file in the same folder. After a reboot and clearing the NVRAM, the "Sleep" option came back — and it's working now.

I checked the folder again afterward, and the file had vanished. Weird, but it did the trick. Does that mean that the file may be used transiently or managed dynamically by the system?

Posting this in case anyone else runs into the same strange issue.

Very smooth and fast OTA Incremental upgrade from Sequoia 15.4 -> 15.4.1 on my HackMini8,1.  Booting with OC 1.0.4.  Not using OCLP.  Disabled BluetoolFixup.kext prior to upgrade.  No issues to report.

I don't have /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement.plist. I don't see it in Ventura either.

Sleep option in Apple menu is okay (not greyed).

@Slice. I went to try to use this kext of yours. But the other kexts that monitor the sensors do not recognize the IDs of my B360 Chipset, ITE-8686E chip or my MCHC under the ID "pci8086.3ec2". My processor's sensors are wrong. I've been using Rehabman's FakeSMC for years, but now I have this "PerfPowerServices" problem in 100% use. Is there a way to add support to my chipset? Thank you.

Hey bud,

yeah, since Sierra Apple Apple has moved some plist files around. You can now find the power management.plist file just outside of the system configuration folder, in Library/Preferences.

My EFI is using only from Slice, but I have my Lenovos laptops that still working better and smooth.

 

Check this FakeSMC and FakeSMCSensors kexts . From Rehabman.

Hi @Slice works on my both Lenovos T14 and E470, works fine with 15.4, 15.4.1 and beta 15.5 but your work its very huge and excellent for Hackintosh Community. 

The difference is that sensors for laptop only work on my laps with RehabMans kexts, but I pass a "few days" studying the HotKeys on SSDT and could activate for both. 

Opencore still not working Thunderbolt 3, just on Clover? I get such problems with OC, I get all done fine I saw this old comment, on GitHub. I learning fly again with T14

Very easy/smooth OTA upgrade from Sequoia 15.4.0 -> 15.4.1 on my HackBookPro6,2 (2010 non-metal Nvidia Tesla). Booting with Open Core 1.0.4. Applying post-install patches with OCLP 2.3.0 (only because I haven't yet upgraded OCLP on this test volume). Posting this with Safari 18.4. All good for my limited use of this museum piece. Thanks, OCLP Devs!

I have a problem. After update, my iCloud Drive stopped functioning. If I keep it ON, the Open/Save Panel is stuck. I have to turn iCloud Drive off. But even like this, I have random restarts. Another glitch is the wallpaper comes to the default one, after each restart or turn off / turn on. Is someone who encountered this problem? Thank you in advance.

Wii @Anto65 my friend, to exalt Opencore too, i get little time to make it works well with sensors and Yoga app.

Like im said, what is good, we need show them. I have been working with Clover but I get and lost my best configurations for work with Yoga, but I did, and get error from EC-RW SSDT. Old issues. But for Opencore 1.0.5 working almost everything (except internal mic) using AppleALC and VoodooHDA. But is a problem with Realtek ALC257. My Lenovo T14 1 th intel working fans, controlled by iStats Menu and YogaSMC app. Controlled in Clover too. But  have no idea why same ssdts and patches are not working at same way.
