Just incase it was not mentioned, you may need to toggle off Beta Update for this Update to show up.

At least that is what I had to do on my machine.

Thanks for the warning. Yes, otherwise it is not visible.

Smooth incremental OTA upgrade of my HackMini8,1 from Sequoia 15.3.2 (Release) to 15.4 (Release).  Not testing any Betas in this Volume.  Booting with OC 1.0.4.  Before upgrade, disabled BluetoolFixup.kext.  Not using OCLP (SIP fully enabled, APFS Volume Sealed).

EDIT: ... And smooth upgrade from Sequoia 15.3.2 (Release) -> 15.4 (Release) on my HackBookPro6,2.  Applying post-install patches with OCLP 2.3.0.  Booting with OC 1.0.3.

Spoiler

URGENT NEED  HELP

Update from 15.3.2 to 15.4 without issue (SMBIOS macPro6,1; Opencore 1.0.5 nightly). Then I apply new OCLP 2.3.0. Now my screen is totally freezing, unusable. I can't revert patches of course: desktop, all menus. are like a mosaic!.

Anybody knows how to solve this problem ! Please.

I see 2 configurations in your signature. Which of them is that one with problems? I guess the Asus p8z77 – because of the graphic card nVidia. Make a USB stick with a new OpenCore and boot the computer with it. Then see what happened there and fix.

Yes, it's for Asus p8z77 (Ivybridge, SMBIOS macPro6,1). I can boot with Opencore 1.0.5 nightly. The issue concerns Sequoia.

I guess the problem is with OCLP 2.3.0: root patches are applied for Intel HD4000, Nividia Kepler and Modern Network. But OCLP can't download latest MetallibSupportPkg for 3802, because Broadcom is not patched at first stage. So when I reboot: the Sequoia desktop is unusable, can't revert vida patches and download new metallibSupportPkg !

Any ideas !

Revert patches using this technique.

Thanks a lot. 😊

How to root patch only modern wifi and reboot, then root patches graphics (Intel HD4000 and Nvidia Kepler). Because OCLP can't download the new metallibSupportPKG for Sequoia 15.4.

EDIT: I try your technique without success. I can boot Sequoia, but graphic patches remains (?). So no Desktop, only freeze and so on.

I'm sorry I don't have another solution for you.  That's the only way I know to revert OCLP patches if you can't boot macOS normally.

@Matgen84 I spoke too soon - there may be other ways to "revert" OCLP patches.

  1. Reinstall macOS over top of your existing macOS using a full USB installer
  2. Install macOS to a new volume and then use Migration Assistant to migrate from the failed Volume.  Migrate BEFORE applying OCLP patches to the new volume.

I was wondering if anyone has solved the problem because opencore configuration and clover configuration are not visible when opened

I wonder, who develops opencore configuration and clover configuration has found with the 15.4 beta version there was already this problem, it's strange that they have not released an update to solve this problem.
So I deduce that we will be forced to have a hard disk only to configure our EFI with the old version (15.3) of sequoia or other old macos..
