Max.1974
@XanthraX My two real Macs doing the same with regularity after fresh install, so don't worry!! 😆 I think is port from your internet hub, I think you possible have a line modem hub, like me, because in my house I used 2 hubs for ethernet, independent if you only use Wireless, its Apple think! XanthraX
I think I have an imperfect contact with the SSD. Randomly the OS freezes, then reboots and halts in BIOS where I see no disk to boot from. I changed the cable. I hope that cable was the culprit. Also, it doesn't matter what wallpaper I set, after restart it comes with the default wallpaper. But your trick makes iCloud Drive to work. I think the CoudDocks gets corrupted because of abrupt disconnect with the SSD. Hope this cable to work now. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360849-release-macos-sequoia-154/page/6/#findComment-2831758 Share on other sites
XanthraX
Still having randomly freezes followed by reboots. After every reboot I have to do again the commands adviced me by @Max.1974. And Finder not shows me the iPhone when I connect it with the USB cable. The iPhone is charging, so the USB port and cable working. I don't see on iphone any message to tell me to trust this device. I had not these problems before upgrading to 15.4. Hello @XanthraX, sometimes it is necessary to review your mapping, as there have been changes in Sequoia. I also recommend, before each installation, "cleaning" your Nvme SSD HD, with a clean installation, which can be deleted from the root. But if it persists, it is certainly possible that you changed your BIOS and the mapping changes. In addition, bad mapping causes this stress even in iCloud. I don't know the reason, but I solved it once and for all after remapping. Also check your SSDTS and your EFI for possible errors in EC management. You can try too: In Finder, use keyboard shortcut Shift + Command + G and type in ~/Library/Application Support/, there’s a folder called CloudDocs. Chances are this is the culprit. Delete it (or move it elsewhere) and iCloud will reset itself and stop looping and re-caching the same files over and over again. XanthraX
@Max.1974. Thank you for telling me. I have another trick. In a Finder window, I go in View and chose Show Path Bar (⌥⌘P) and Show Status Bar (⌘ /). Then I press Alt and go in menu > in ~/Library, and from the path bar I drag it on the side panel. It will stay there and I have quick access to it. Then kill bird from terminal and I delete CloudDocs and reboot. Everything works ok, all USB work, but very randomly, after not more than 20-30 minutes, the system freezes, I see the beachball, then everything freezes and stays like this about 5 minutes, then reboots. Sometimes, it reboots in BIOS and shows like no disk to boot from. If I restart it, it boots normally until freezes again. My Mobo is the first generation with one NvME M2 slot and I was afraid to use a NvME SSD. I use SATA SSD. I am still afraid the motherboard is defective. I ordered a VideoCard RX 580 made by Pulse. I have an XFX one, and on other site, someone said XFX cards do problems like this. If the problem persists, I have to think of other motherboard with LGA 1151 CPU slot. I hate this, but I think this is what I have to do. Max.1974
Hi my friend @Xantrax so sorry, I have no idea about this have been cause many troubles. Maybe you can check update firmware from NVme or test in previous Osx like Ventura. Are you try reinstall your Bios? Its seems to me that can be RAM memory check your hardware card. I've lost an Asus very cheap but I decide use only Gigabyte for desktops. Sometimes you can check if your rev patch on boot-args is ok. Im lost an Asus very cheap but I decide use only Gigabyte for desktops. Sometimes you can check if your rev patch on boot-args is ok. Thank you my friend. I am busy until the weekend. I will install a NvME SSD, until now. I updated the BIOS. I also wait for the Sapphire Pulse videocard. I also took the DIMMs out and washed the contacts with isopropilic alcohol, then put back. If none of those work, I am afraid my motherboard has an issue. I dont use Asus right now, I have a Gigabyte Z370P D3. It is the rig with the i3 CPU I have in my signature. In the last instance, I will get another motherboard, made with LGA 1151 socket. I dont want to invest in a new motherboard, new CPU, new kind of RAM, just maybe for one macOS version which still works on Intel, but AFAIK, Sequoia is the last one. The boot-args are the same. I have posted the Hackindrom window, there you can see my kexts, my OC version, my SMBIOS and my boot args. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360849-release-macos-sequoia-154/page/6/#findComment-2831820 Share on other sites
XanthraX
I found the culprit. It is the SATA SSD defective. Some contacts are imperfect. I reinstalled the system on a NvME SSD and it works, but the SATA SSD icon disappeared from the desktop. @Max.1974. Thank you again for trying to help me. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360849-release-macos-sequoia-154/page/6/#findComment-2831826 Share on other sites

You will like more using NVme. My Lenovo has twice and more on Thunderbolt, it's better than SSD Sata. Try update your EFI with OCAT and or Opencore Configurator, after you prepare with HackinDROM. It's very serious App. This App Help me adjust my Thunderbolt SSDT. Some drives do not need this kext and work quite natively. For others, it can prevent crashes and improve system stability. Sometimes, this kext leads to unpredictable behavior of the system as a whole. You should test what works best for you. 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360849-release-macos-sequoia-154/page/6/#findComment-2831865 Share on other sites
