Crack works amazingly well.

This was worth the wait-it looks great and behaves just like previous versions of Photoshop.

Great work, Adobe!

before posting false statements about what computer, app and kernel version it will work on, you at least have to have that system. Everything work fine on MBP 10.4.8 and also runs on P4 SSE2, 10.4.7, kernel 8.4.1. Thhe patch works well also. Don't know about PPC though.

I was quoting the System Requirements straight from Adobe. I'm not trying to make any false statements.

CS3 IS RETARDED FAST!!!!!!!

IT TOOK ME A MINUTE TO UNDERSTAND THE PATCH DIRECTIONS BUT I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT, MAN AND WHEN I DID!!!!! NOT EVEN 4 SECONDS TO START!!!! :) :) :D

Just reporting that CS3[k'd] works fine on my PowerMac G5 Dual 2GHz

I do have a CS3 cursor issue on my Hackintosh, must be related to kernel or kext.

Sorry about posting the hex edit, Hagar. I won't do it again. :)

Hey, does anybody else have a problem with Adobe Stock Photos? It doesn't do anything when I click on it.

I'm assuming that's just the way it is. I know the Adobe Help Center doesn't do anything. It leads to a bunch of help tutorials that haven't even been written yet. Adobe Bridge also interfaces with a lot of CS3 software which (obviously) isn't out yet, causing a few minor problems.

Just wanted to post my success, and give some stuff I found/made to you guys.

Firstly, I love how crazy fast CS3 opens, but hate how it looks.

Here http://www.macthemesforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=16778576 is a much better replacement icon.

I also decided to undertake making a better splash screen, to match this icon.

To use either of these, open Adobe Photoshop CS3.rsrc (Located in the Resource folder inside of the App) with ThemePark. Search for splash. Click on SplashArtBackground.png, and then drag either of these into the picture window. Choose resize image, save, and close ThemePark.

remove /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Adobe Photoshop CS3.app/Contents/Resources/AMT/application.sif

you will have a surprise ;)

And what's the surprise? I didn't expect Santa Claus to come out, but at least I wanted to see something deferent! :)

I´ve tested here in XP and OSX, and for benchmark I used the same ActionScript that do about 10 tests.

In both systems CS3 outperformed CS2. Very good.

The script is in the link. The tests are performed on the image attached.

To see how it performs, use the PS timming to see how many seconds are spent on each filter.

I don't know what it does either, but some poking around in it's separate XML file yielded some info:

I had to install it on my Wife's iMac so I decided to try out sigxcpu's suggestion before I even launched it the first time. When I did... Nice.

So far. We'll see in two days.

This is a crack for the Windows version of CS3. You just need to remove the application.sif folder in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\AMT
