  1. You need correct Serial Number in your SMBIOS for it to show Mac Pro
  2. Anyone can help me with this. The boot process stops here.
  3. Hello everyone, I have a D630 with intel X3100 graphics. I use this method to prepare a bootable Chameleon flash drive with Lion DP4. Flash drive boots successfully. I choose my Destination Partition for Lion and then when the install process begins the installation just freezes! I cannot move my mouse or anything... and this is as far as I get.... Can you help or just share your method of installing DP4 on your computer? Thanks in advance! -Simon
  4. Marvell Yukon 88E8072

Ok guys, any Marvell Yukon 88e8072 users out there? I found a kext file on a Chinese forum. The author of the kext claims that it should work! I don't know if that's true or not, I don't have a mac (Linux User here) but I decided to share it with you guys, give me some feedback.. thanks! Heres the kext file http://db.tt/XpwRBa6 Again, please share if it works or not! Would be really cool to let the community know!
  5. InsanelyHacked!

I'm glad to see this site up and running again! You guys are better than I expected! Thank you for the faster forum, and all in all, keep up the good work!
  6. Why upgrade?

Exactly! Upgrading brings me a lot of pleasure! It's like buying something new!
  7. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

Can someone describe which are the essential kexts that system uses? I mean apart from the one I use for my video, audio and so on, which kexts are with main importance?
  8. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

Would it be possible to include this system.kext in the new package?
  9. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

If that so.....and you can't get Extensions folder from your installation DVD, I guess you should wipe it out! Sorry but that's the way it is! You can enter Terminal by going to your Istall DVD! From there you can restore your previous kernel!
  10. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

Your problem is caused by the reason that your system can not load System/Library/Extensions/ folder! Did you backup this folder? If you did, just go to the installation DVD>terminal and copy the old Extensions folder to /System/Library/ folder! Repair permissions on the selected drive, and reboot!
  11. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

I know, but I have to download the entire update for just 1 file!
  12. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

Hey Viper.Br, Would you mind sending me this file System.kext, from your current installation? Thank you!
  13. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

I don't I deleted the entire /Extensions folder, and replaced it with the one I used in 10.4.9! Lkr could you send me yours via iChat, Skype or smth?
  14. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

Of course! You should type your partition's name, instead of mine!
  15. 10.4.10 Upgrade Sucessful

Yep! That's my main partition title!
