I can confirm you need RestrictEvents.kext

I use RestrictEvents.kext but it's still all the same, I've tested the download on two rigs and the first try to update always fails.

Exactly. I had the issue when updating from DP1 to DP2, then I swapped out my SSD for a new one so I had to re-install DP1. Updating to DP2 again went without errors but when I wanted to update from DP2 to DP3 I got the same error again.
I do use RestrictEvents.kext as well. Anyway, I'm fine if it wants to play hard to get as long as it eventually will let me install it

Note: this is on Ventura B2- not tested on Ventura B3!

Hi!

I've installed the Beta 3 on my Haswell system. Had to change the Secure boot option from J137 to Default, but now I can't log into my dashboard.

Roughly translated:

"User "xxx" can't login because of an error"

How can I get rid off and get back to my dashboard please?

I answer my own question as my system is back!

I couldn't login into my dashboard because of activated bluetooth!

My system boots only in this combination:

Wifi works, but no bluetooth of course

Maybe it helps someone...

Cheers

@odemolay Xcode 14 beta 3

However if you need Xcode for actual production work I'd strongly advise you to dual boot Monterey and use Xcode 13 instead.
Using beta software as your main driver never is a good idea anyways, especially not on hackintoshes

The clean install is in progress no more stupid admin credential!

I was worried that we might have need to keep another version of macOS on the system for the rest of lives :hysterical:

New update doesn't fix the bugs with Eclipse and HWMonitor.

It sadly doesn't but iStat Menus works just fine.

@PG7 The rasiest method to control which of the Broadcom Kexts load for which OS is to use Min and Max Kernel settings: https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/tree/main/10_Kexts_Loading_Sequence_Examples#example-7-broadcom-wifi-and-bluetooth

Interesting. The incremental update keeps failing on me, which it does since DP1 so I decided to stream the process to see WHY it fails and apparently it fails on a BOM mismatch on Bluetool:

fout	22:51:42.513319+0200	softwareupdated	[DIAG_ERROR] ERROR: [UPDATE] msuPrepareFailed, result=3 error:MobileSoftwareUpdateErrorDomain(MSU):MSU_ERR_FILESYSTEM_DOESNT_VERIFY(3)_1_MobileSoftwareUpdateBOMErrorDomain:1 | contents of '/usr/sbin/BlueTool' don't match bom (497918b0 vs ead8a23d)
-> Full replacement is required [as opposed to incremental patch].

Which apparently happens to others as well:

Edit: I booted without BlueToolFixUp and the incremental update went through completely fine:
