Okay I seemed to have partially resolve this. I found what seems to be a warning of sorts in the screensaver section indicating that the display will go to sleep before the screensaver will kick in:

When I set this to 1 min, my display could finally wake from sleep.

Separate to this I also found a potential fix from Dortania guide, in the form of adding the CFG,CFG_USE_AGDC key to GPU's device properties in EFI.

Set screen saver start time lower than sleep display.

Gmyle BT Broadcom 20702A0 USB  working in BS not working in Monterery.  i added BTFixup, BRCMBTInjector, BRCMFirmwarerepo and BRCMPatchRAM3 kexts to /L/E.

Any ideas on how to get this dongle to work natively ?

You need 3 kext to make it work. BTFixup, BRCMPatchRAM3 and BRCMFirmwaredata. Enjoy your USB BT.

Thanks for your kexts.

But I tried with BCM20702A0 and other BCM2046B1, but both doesn´t work.

I don´t know if I need set for these kexts a minimum kernel version or not.

Cheers.

I do not have the laptop here, I'm going to look for it,  but I do not remember the bluetooth model of the Lenovo 😅

Then I look at it, but it works ... I connected the iPhone ... to test it.

I put the drivers because I don't like to disable it in the bios, but I never use it ... 🤷‍♀️

In Monterey these options are missing from the BT menu when pressing option-shift:

@asdesoso.  I had not looked at about this mac, but my bluetooth comes out like this:

It does not show as much information as in big sur? ¿?

Yes, Monterey shows less information than Big Sur in Bluetooth section.

What chipset do you have, I can´t enable it.

Thanks.

Well I think it is this model:

BCM92070MDLENO

It is that I do not have windows installed on the laptop, and I have only taken the bluetooth capture, and I am not next to the laptop again until tomorrow

Guys - Hate to be a killjoy but don't forget Monterey is at it's first Beta, I don't know how much of it is based on BS and even that is still in Beta stage so don't expect too much of all things working as expected. Until a few more Beta releases and the OC Devs get a grip of things, we will encounter quite a few anomalies on the way. :graduated:

@eSaF You're completely right. I would even say more, it's a preview so not yet a beta, as Apple says (top left of the screenshot).

Tried to install and succeeded but boot time is horrendous for me. I get a bunch

"ALF, old data swfs"

stuff and then it boots 3+ minutes later.

Might be going back to Mojave as I didn't like big sur

Édit: I managed to decrease boot time a little by getting rid of any Bluetooth related kexts.

I think i did so. Thanks. What can I do to find the issue as it worked fine on last big sur

Big Sur = Big Beta
Monterey = Pre Release
Big Sur & Monterey = Not Same
What works for one may not work for the other.
Test and trial but always keep a backup of working config!
Or stay with what works until out of pre release.

Thanks. Yeah, I just read so many others saying the straight upgrade worked for them that I thought I might as well try, lol.

Aside from the long as heck boot, it works well.

Can someone check my bootlog and maybe tell me if something is off?

Hi guys,

Finally today I was able to solve my sound and bluetooth issues and now macOS Monterey is working as it should, the only annoyance that I have yet is the return of the slow boot, and the presence of an Untitled disk icon (My widows 10 SSD) in the desktop, anyone knows how to solve any of this annoyances?

I think macOS Monterey views my Windows SSD as an external disk, instead of internal...

Thanks

Ive got a similar issue with slow boot. What messages you get on verbose log at boot?
