Where do your Broadcom fixes come from? Rehabman fix is 2.2.10.

What ones you referring too?

In your OP (BroadcomFix):

BrcmPatchRAM3.kext
BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext

I had an old Azurewave aw-ce123h card lying around from an old laptop hack so I bought a Fenvi FV-101 to put it in. My wireless work perfectly with AirportBrcmFixup.kext but bluettoth is very flaky. Looks like it connects, I can see it in system preferences but can't connect anything to it. Sooo, trying different methods.

@pkdesign Has your WiFi on a older system run into problems using the latest clover Efi?

thats clovers fault if it has. Roll it back to an older version if the Broadcom fixes do not work.

Hi @AudioGod, I update my EFI to your latest clover version (4/5), I only edit it and insert my serials, but this time I had a problem, it doesn't boot anymore. It's not the stop sign, it shows the apple sign but no progress bar in the bottom.

With -v I can see the logs that shows in the photo.

Do you understand from that what is causing the problem?

I think that I did as always, but probably did something wrong...

Thanks

Solved: The new Clover EFI has already KernelPM Unchecked and my bios wasn't

I loaded the provided CFG Unlock profile, but noticed that some selections was different from the suggested bios settings, so I changed it again, saved the profile and this time it booted ok into Catalina.

I've got it figured out. For anyone else who may have the same issue:

I used BrcmFirmwareData.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext from https://github.com/acidanthera (I am on Mojave, for Catalina you use BrcmPatchRAM3.kext)

But the key was to add: FakePCIID.kext from Rehabman's repository https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-fake-pci-id/downloads/

Now I have WiFi and working Bluetooth using a Fenvi FV-101 card and an old Azurewave aw-ce123h mini pcie card I had lying around.

Thanks for your help @AudioGod as always!

Next, off to try new OC EFI when I get done doing some actual work!

yes its safe but is it really adding anything other then a better Geekbench score?

there's also radeonboost.kext that im guessing this is just a direct ripoff version of but just for fun I shall investigate. Framebuffer patches that improve nothing more then a Geekbench score are worthless in my eyes.

Lets see what it can do. looking at the ssd decompiled I can also see that if you use it with OpenCore its going to load into windows as there's no bypass written into it.

still though let me test..lol

update, reading the comments on he's thread its exactly what I thought it was and nothing more then a total waste of time and a lovely placebo effect.

if you want to mess with your framebufers like that then do it with radeonboost.kext as its written by the guy who knows about this sort of stuff but again I must warn you and repeat myself that its a total waste of your energy and time for nothing more then a placebo effect... :hysterical:

Hi @AudioGod

You have returned to OpenCore stock and left the N-D-K fork?

Do you happen to know how can I change the white icons for the black ones?

Thanks

I always had Original OpenCore but yes your correct in your assumption and I have indeed dropped using and supporting NDKs Fork as I do not see the point anymore and the demand on both my threads was super low. That was my cue to drop it.
Also add to that that OpenCore is perfect the way it is and I get and like the way it works and what they are trying to do under the hood.
Your the first person to notice that I removed NDK OpenCore...lol

if your referring to OpenCanopy then I’m not sure, that’s something you need to ask on the OpenCore Thread if your feeling brave....:hysterical:

LoL...

No I'm not referring to OpenCanopy, but icons of N-D-K... I have already asked in N-D-K thread and no one answered me yet...

Thanks anyway

Ask Matgen84, he will know just tag him in your post over on NDKs thread and he will get back to you when he’s free.

Clover or OpenCore?

if opencore then check the notes and diagrams concerning MSR unlocked directly under the OpenCore EFIs

It's clover

Is KernelPM  unchecked and your MSR locked without you realising?

reset your nvram if that’s all correct.

either check kernelPM or use my MSR UNLOCKED profile to correct it.

We need more info, buddy. Is it a bluetooth mouse? I had choppy mouse when my BT+WIFI PCI card was on the wrong PCI Slot. If that's the case for you then move your Fenvi or whatever PCI card you have on the most bottom PCI slot.
