in the second usb stick, Clover showed me the language during the installation. unfortunately it ended the same way as before. We'll see if this reset helps.

ok, I take out the batteries, I'll wait a while, then I'll upload your bios profile and try again. also now i will try with clover after bios reset

No, before i had i7 6700k, Asus z270a, it worked without a problem. I installed windows 10 and everything worked. I still have Samsung m2 500gb, but I had the same problem during installation. I think it's not a disk

I did everything as you wrote, again there is the same problem.  I can upload photos from the whole installation, but there were some. I don't want to make a trash here

and what slots are in use on the board and are you using a vertical mount. Include everything basically including makes and models?

Move your keyboard and mouse to the usb2 hub At the top of the io plate (the black row of four usb2 hub) and remove any other usb devices for now. (Excluding the usb install key)

also while you have no WiFi bluetooth card in there disable airportbrcmfixup.fixup in the config.plist in OpenCore

or in clover remove the kext from the kext folder temperately.

@AudioGod
when I have OC-EFI, I get a error, can you check my EFI?

EFI-OC.zip

Are you sure MSR (CFG Lock) is disabled on your motherboard? @AudioGod’s OC EFIs are set up for motherboards with disabled CFG Lock by default.

If it’s not unlocked check the first page of the topic there are two values that need to be enabled on OC config.plist

I use @AudioGod cfg bios.  How can I check if it is disabled?

while on OpenCore Boot Picker, press space and select “Modified GRUB Shell”

then type:

setup_var_3 0x5C1

and press enter.

If it returns 0x00 then it is indeed unlocked.

you can shut down the computer pressing the power button after that.

PS Do not type anything else on the grub shell, I have no responsibility whatsoever if your motherboard flies to Mars

Or use Hackintool>Utilities>Click Get AppleIntelInfo button at bottom left and look for:

MSR_PMG_CST_CONFIG_CONTROL........(0xE2) : 0x7E000008
------------------------------------------
 - I/O MWAIT Redirection Enable......... : 0 (not enabled)
 - CFG Lock............................. : 0 (MSR not locked)

Well I finally got around to testing AudioGod's OC 0.5.8 EFI and I can say that it works with my Mojave OS machine. Had to make some additions/deletions for my particular set-up (necessary WiFi kexts, changing audio layout and deleting agdpmod=pikera) but everything including Messages and Facetime worked. Still have my newly discover sleep issue (I thought magically OC would fix it :D) but oh well.

Three questions: 1) I'm guessing that the only GUI for OC (not the NDK fork) is the text that lists the possible OSes to boot? Have no idea how opencanopy works; 2) Can that be moved to the center of the screen; and 3) can it be made larger?

Check this:

But mind that it’s work in progress, hotkeys do not work and generally not recommended yet.

ok i try it.

@carter1810

rx 570/580xt will they also work?

Yes I think so. Maybe you can try to use igpu only, just to installation. After that you can boot with 5700XT and remember add agdpmod=pikera to bootarg

Just a quick update, once i installed the same series graphics card as your original build its been completely stable and dual boots windows and mac..

I've actually set it up in a configuration that it runs mac os server and can house and control 32 x HDD's using an internal ARECA PCI Card with SAS. I've set it as JBOD but it will do raid also. You can access this card from windows or mac. The drives show up as usable volumes in whatever format you choose.

Only issue im having is the graphics card isn't stable in windows and i'd rather remove it entirely and use the IGPU (server so don't need acceleration) but it won't boot if i remove the card at all...

Also got a StarTech ST10000SPEX 10gbe ethernet PCI card for it but can't get that to work at all, 1gb is ok for now.

Hi, just tried the OpenCore 058 Z390 Pro 1,1 040520 Version for installing.

I updated the Bios of my Master to F11c and did load the profile to enable NVRAM.

When I boot into OC and OSX runs it is is Russion / Greek ?

When I than start Catalina Install it is English, but than it tells me all my drives are locked.

Any Idea? I'm new to OC.

you have a Z390 Master and you're using all the wrong files as this thread is for the z390 Pro.

I would of thought this would of been obvious from the file names and thread title...

Try again using the files from here.

Hey, anybody experienced the problem with shutdown - ie when you try to shutdown hackintosh via apple logo -> Shutdown its droping everything, but screen freeze and its not going to actually shutodown, but you can not do anything with hack apart from shutdown it via holding power button? Opencore 0.5.8 here

never heard of that one sorry,

That’s probably a messy os of problem device. You could try clearing your cache and rebuilding permissions then restart and clear your nvram.
