Did you try using airportfixup by any chance?

no..

other than the wake issue, everything else was working fine without any issue when I put in the pcie card a couple weeks ago , so I did not do anything for it kext wise..

should I try to use the airportbcmfixup kext?

Same patch that worked in Mojave works in Catalina - Done mine in NDK OC a couple of days ago, I needed it as my p/c case has a X-DOCK for Hot Plugging SSDs' where I keep my system backups, also the patch shows correct external drive colour.

I am happy to know it works in OC. I still use Clover. We might have the same case aka storm trooper or stryker?

The color patch is for opencore only? If it is for clover too can you share it please? My external disks show yellow as they should but the hotplug not

Yes do so, the kext helps in most cases but it defo improves things with our combo card that we use. Might not fix wake though but still one to use with the combo card anyway.

are you using photos with iCloud? Right when you install macOS and choose to sync your iCloud photo library with the macOS photos app it won't let you sleep until the entire library is downloaded

Your missing the point of hes problem there matey, he’s sleep is fine it’s he’s wireless keyboard and mouse that are the problem. He is unable to wake the system with them.

Legacy USB support set to enabled.

tested with both CLover 5110 and opencore 0.57

also I have tested them separately on two different HD.

seems to be the same outcome..

let me test legacy usb disabled right away and will report back..

I have put my hack into sleep and wake up soo many times, lol..she must be yelling at me right now "make up your mind, do you want me to sleep or not!!!" lol

@Tiem Hi Bro :) ......If you look though the guys posts you're realise quickly he wouldn't know where to begin on how to fix he's windows partition.

In this instance I think wizemans solution is better for the guy as its fool proof and he will be able to do it on he's own.

He didn't even have a sn, uuid and mlb installed into my EFIs when I took a look at it.

What your saying is a perfect fix but not for somebody with such little knowledge for themselves. Make Sense G?

And please stop the tit for tat with Wizeman and just be nice the two of you...lol... I think you're both sweet as but don't make me knock your heads together ok? We are not at school!!!!!! FIX UP! :hysterical: :hysterical:

Dear he is the one being rude. I think he has a crush on me. Bloody h3ll I knew I was irresistible but not that much.

The reason I told him to start over is because what the other guy did (not even mentioning his name don’t wanna give false hopes :D ) was like giving rocket science lecture to a freshman. Not everyone is a know it all :lmao:

hi guys, anybody tried Wake On Lan? I don't really get to wake up my hackintosh when the pc is off. I saw that the light of the ethernet port in the back of the case is off, should be on when the pc is off?

Could be something with kexts?

Thanks

Sorry it seems like an obvious question; but I'm a bit unclear about which clover folder to use with sapphire rx580 card. I know it should have native support anyway and maybe doesn't matter, but just want to check I wasn't starting off down the wrong road. I saw prev (not the updated ones) they did mention it specifically.

Thanks again for all your efforts.

Clover Z390 Pro Polaris 19,1 EFI 060420.zip Polaris is the name of your gpu model.

@howiethed I rewrote what EFI is what on page one.
Is it clearer now as to what one is what? :)
thanks buddy

I love you my brother AudioGod

Thank you very much for help me

all the best

Seriously due, this could not be simpler. Just READ and you can figure it out. It's like three items to enter. Come on.

I got my bluetooth wake up issue verified..

I tested cmvi intel 9560 bluetooth, bluetooth keyboard /mouse  wake up is fine..

so maybe it is my pcie adapter  that is causing the issue for my BCM card.

BTW, during my research, I saw a forum from china today, someone compiled a kext for intel wifi by using/combine OS X community effort.
due to opensource credit issue, it was deleted..
but looks like it is possible to get intel wifi working now .. 9560 cnvi included..
a lot of more work needs to be done for a public release..

You know this seemed to interfere with handoff. Specifically Safari tabs. I since disabled the kext and things work as they did.

I gave it a week and don’t need it :D

You can find the creator of the kext and the kext itself over on the red Apple site but that kext has never worked Properly unfortunately and I doubt it ever will do. It’s a shame but it is cool they are trying.

Safari Tabs? Does it mess with your coffee in the morning too?

i find the kext messes with my Golf GTI and also my Toilet so I removed it and now my Toilet flush’s just right again And my car feels much better to drive ...hahahaha hahahahaha :hysterical:

You can’t be more correct here.

Safari Tab syncing has nothing to do with BT. It’s pure iCloud functionality. The fixup kext has resolved sleep problems on my hack with the Fenvi and introduced no issues whatsoever.

Plus continuity takes some time to start working 100%, most times when you change something in the Bluetooth department it breaks (eg Continuity works from iPhone to MacOS but not vice versus) and then for some reason fixes itself a couple of days later.

You just got to love the placebo effect. Think it, believe it and it will be, Just noticed that my Nikes are much more comfy without the kext in place too. LoL
