Titan Ridge Thunderbolt drivers zip. mb_driver_thunderbolt_17.4.77.400.zip @Audioogod, if you post the thunderbolt guide on main page you should include this. Just curious where you got this. I also visited the Gigabyte support page and the only driver they had to download was a file named "mb_driver_626_thunderboltdch_1.41.648.4_n.zip". Maybe they serve up different drivers depending on locale? I'm in North America. Still haven't had time to follow your guide and re-test my card. Thanks for the driver. Update: Oh, I found it! It is the MB Thunderbolt driver for the Gigabyte Designare Z390. So this driver works for the Titan Ridge card even though it was designed for onboard TB3? I really could not remember where i found it. But i also remember that a driver i downloaded from T-Ridge official page was not working for me so i got the one i posted. Maybe it works because its integrated in Designare mb? The point is that it works flawlessly with hotplugging and with cold boot directly in Osx! 1 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339980-audiogods-aorus-z390-pro-patched-dsdt-mini-guide-and-discussion/page/98/#findComment-2716303 Share on other sites
MorenoAv
Hi guys, Its my first post in this thread, I need help, I managed after so many tries and errors to install 10.15.3 with OpenCore "official" but like many others that don't like the clean and minimalist text menu, I can't make the transition to n-d-k fork no matter what I do, the enclosed EFI was my last attempt that didn't work. I know is a lot to ask but could one of you take a look at it and tell me what is wrong? Thanks in Advance EFI NDK.zip PS: My hack is the first in my signature... AudioGod
56 minutes ago, MorenoAv said: lol thanks, one more time... @MorenoAv OK here you go buddy and you asked for it so here it is. So looking at your SSDTs you only need SSDT-EC-USBX, SSDT-Plug, SSDT-PMC and the h100i patch if it still works for you. all the others are not needed. your spoofing the RTC using SSDT-AWAC when you can actually run without it and use the boards native RTC instead. SSDT-NVRAM and HPET are not needed. ACPI Patches - You shouldn't need any but you may have your reasons for using them so no comment if that's the case. ACPI Quirks - EnableForAll should be set to False Booter Booter Quirks - SetupVirtualMap should be set to False, ProtectUefiServices should be set to True, EnableForAll should be set to True, Kernel Use IntelMausi.kext NOT IntelMausiEthernet.kext, Why have you got RealtekRTL8111.kext in there? Its not recommended to run usb like you do so use Hackintool and create a custom usb.kext for yourself and use a 15 port limit instead of injecting all, Patches - None of that is needed what so ever so you can drop it all. Quirks - Use the shell and unlock your MSR and once you have done that set AppleCpuPmCfgLock and AppleXcpmCfgLock to False, XhciPortLimit should not be used on a daily basis so again create your own usb.kext and set this to False too. Misc Tools - you don't need CleanNvram set to True NVRAM Boot Args - You don't need keepsyms=1 or debug=0x100 LegacySchema - This should be totally empty Write Flash should be set to False PlatformInfo Generic - ROM is meant to be your MAC Address, UEFI Drivers - DO NOT USE MemoryAllocation.efi it could potentially harm your system in doing so. Please remove this driver immediately, Output - ReconnectOnResChange should be set to True Quirks - RequestBootVarFallback should be set to True Extra Notes Clean up any unused entries in the plist. You have a lot of work to do brother Edited April 9, 2020 by AudioGod 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339980-audiogods-aorus-z390-pro-patched-dsdt-mini-guide-and-discussion/page/98/#findComment-2716362 Share on other sites
WizeMan
I think there has been a discussion previously on this thread but for the love of god this forum's search functionality is useless. I just noticed that if I export a video with QuickTime (for example a screen recording) - Fire -> Export As -> 720p... the video is fully of glitches. I am afraid this is a whatevergreen or a shiki issue. Anybody has faced this? Pieroman
I updated to the supplemental update but the strange thing is that it broke my boot order (the next boot was directly under windows through windows' boot loader from another SSD) and created duplicate boot entries in my UEFI : I now have Mac/Win/blank/Mac/win in my UEFI.... how is the blank even possible ? Otherwise the update went fine thanks to @AudioGod awesome clover EFI ! Overall UEFI entries are the main weird thing in my hack actually : if I delete some with UEFI shell tool they tend get recreated, and I also get a double windows entry in Clover, with only one booting properly (legacy is disabled in my plist and my windows uses UEFI boot anyway) : "Boot microsoft EFI boot from EFI" works while "Boot microsoft EFI boot from windows 10 *" (*the name of my windows drive) doesn't. They are perfectly configured and should run on your mainboard oob. Or just take them as a template and compare them to your config. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339980-audiogods-aorus-z390-pro-patched-dsdt-mini-guide-and-discussion/page/98/#findComment-2716423 Share on other sites

kiko89
Hi guys, a stupid question... i have two hack as you see in the signature: - first with sata 860 evo - second with nvme 970 pro. while updating to supplemental update both of them, I realized that the hack with the sata did it much faster. also the boot of the sata hack is 13 seconds, while the nvme hack 21 seconds. Is it normal? P.S. i noticed that i have generic ssd controller, not apple ssd controller Thank you Edited April 10, 2020 by kiko89 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339980-audiogods-aorus-z390-pro-patched-dsdt-mini-guide-and-discussion/page/98/#findComment-2716447 Share on other sites

MorenoAv
Hi again @texem, tanks for that part of the guide that I didn't know, but I'm booted with "official" OpenCore 0.5.7 and I didn't, don't need that patches because I have full acceleration and in VideoProc I have H264 and HEVC enabled, as you can see in the picture below.
