No, just try another SMBIOS for iMac 19,1 if you are using an AMD card. Boot back to macOS with use of your USB installer and redo pci info with hackintool. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/337837-glasgoods-macos-mojave-successguide-for-aorus-z390-pro/page/16/#findComment-2674902 Share on other sites

Charles375
Hello guys, I'm reading this thread the beginning to find a way to make work both USB 2 and USB 3 on my hackintosh. I have exactly the same equipment than glasgood, but I'm trying to setup Sierra on it, for compatibility on some softwares. Anyway, my problem is: Only USB2 works when I use this line in Kernel and Kext Patches com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCIPCI -- 83BD74FF FFFF10 -- 83BD74FF FFFF1F If I disable it, only USB3 works. I've seen theres is a conflict with an other line in my config.plist, but I can't find the way to resolve it... I've tried to remove all USB lines and only put USBInjectAll.kext but it's not working. If anybody can give me a new idea or solution? Many thanks !! I had to add this line uia_exclude=HS14 in Clover Configurator under Boot Arguments and it solved the problem. I will have to investigate if by adding that if it impedes any other function - Your thoughts please @ glasgood. I'm sure I remember reading something about having to disable bluetooth on HS14 on the Gigabyte Z390 boards with Intel CNVi . So on your Aorus Pro Z390 WiFi did you include HS14 inside your SSDT-UIAC.aml ? It's the Pro version that I bought, mainly because the intel wifi was unsupported in macOS. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will update guide so other's are aware. Should not impede any other function. Problem 1- When pressing the wall ac mains socket from off position to on, the Aorus Pro briefly powers up and then immediately powers down. ( this happens without pressing power button on case / chassis ) 2- Hackintosh resumes normal startup when pressing the power button. That's normal with asus and gigabyte boards. I've been seeing that for many years now. I don't think it's a fault of any sort though. Il double check but I'm pretty sure it's a little power on self test of some sort. Update - what's happening is when erp is enabled and you power up from the mains for the first time the psu is briefly allowing power though the system before the erp kicks in and shuts everything off. The reverse effect is too have something that lights up hooked into a USB slot and shut down the system with erp off and the lights will remain lit up in the USB device because erp hasn't kicked in and shut off the USB power fully. If you like to charge stuff with the system off via USB then leave erp disabled but if like me you have loads of stuff hooked up via USB and more so if it lights up or is rgb then leave it enabled or power keeps going to the devices even though the system is off. I hope that helps buddy. FTFT1234
I've followed this guide a month or so ago and got my whole system up and running flawlessly. Thanks @glasgood! However, yesterday I've updated from macOS 10.14.4 to 10.14.5 and now I have a problem. When booting the progress bar underneath the apple logo gets to around 75 percent, but then my monitor loses signal. It takes 20 - 30 seconds before the monitor gets a new signal with the login screen being shown. Other than this everything works perfect. My system specs are: Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K Graphics: IGPU (UHD630) RAM: 16 GB Storage: SAMSUNG SSD 830 Series SMBIOS: iMac18,1 Do you guys know, what the problem could be? Of course the Framebuffer patches are in my config.plist, I didn't change anything there before or after updating to 10.14.5. Oh, and something funny I've noticed: Since updating to 10.14.5 in the About this Mac section it says I have a 3,6 GHz Intel Core i9, but as you can see in my specs list, it's an i7. I guess that comes from the new iMacs not having a 9th gen i7 but an i9 instead.
