Hello @MaLd0n,

I just finished my first mackintosh build toady but encountered the same shutdown and restart problem described above, here attached my clover folder.

Could you please look at it and help me to fix it?

use full Clover folder with last Clover version

CLOVER.zip

Clover_v2.4k_r4778.pkg.zip

remove GenericXHCI kext

Everything is working good with the provided files except for USB, I have some very inconsistent behavior. I have tried using FB-Patcher to generate a kext and it while it "looks" as expected with reducing the number of ports (with both personalities), I still have issues.

Behavior on Boot:

- USB 2.0 works in all ports (that have it set)

- USB 3.0 drive plugged into some ports does not recognize (not seen ion ioreg), replugging it does not fix the issue.
- Rear panel usb3.0 port works fine

- Plugging USB3.0 flash drive into usb2 port works.

- On initial boot, hot-pluged USB3.0 devices are not recognized.

- After a Sleep/resume cycle,  hot-pluged USB3.0 devices are recognized on ports that previously didn't work.
- USB devices disconnect on sleep/resume

Same issue with reboot/shutdown kernel panic

Z390 M Gaming

Intel 9600k with iGPU configured just for acceleration (working)

AMD RX 570 (native)

Sound ALC892 (working)

Fenvi T919 wifi (working)

I tried the other Z390 m gaming config, did not work with ACPI errors on boot

Running latest clover EFI 4871

Using Emu with OsxAptioFixDrv-64 does not boot with OsxAptioFixDrv error

Fixed reboot/shutdown/sleep issues by using z390 m gaming DSDT (from first page of this thread), OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi driver and added slide=0 boot arg

Only remaining issue is - fans are not controlled properly by OS X and they do not show up in HW Monitor with all sensors installed.

Hello MaLd0n,

Here's my hacintosh info:

RX 560

970 Evo

Not sure if it's related, but I also have issues with BT in that it shows up fine in my Apple System report, but will not detect any devices.

Any help is really appreciated!

Hi @MaLd0n,

My hack worked flawlessly before, since Mojave I can't preview JPG files in Finder or Preview so I followed some guide to enable my onboard Intel HD graphics, which fixed the issue but it also gave me 100% KP on shutdown / reboot, can you help?

Added latest shutdown screenshot, the message changes often so I'm not sure if it's related to the KP.

Thanks!

Thank you! However, I still got the same KP using your files, nothing seems changed, on either shutdown or restart, I got KP 100% of the time.

Hello! I have completed my first hackintosh build. It is mostly working, but I am having a kernel panic on restart/shutdown. I am also getting inconsistent/slow WiFi performance, with errors in my crash reports folder from "com.apple.driver.Airport.Brcm4360.0" and "com.apple.iokit.IO80211Family". I'm guessing this is why my airport is not working consistently either. I have tried making my own config.plist and different kext combinations but have had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
