1. Hello all,I have successfully gotten my Hackintosh working 99 percent. The remaining issue that I am running into is that my system will randomly kernel panic upon a user issued shutdown or reboot WHEN I have either a usb sound card or usb headset plugged into any of my USB ports (both 2.0 and 3.0). If I remove the headset, it will power down with no issues. Does anyone have any suggestions? My system is as follows:MacOS 10.14 MojaveGigabyte H370 HD38400 i5 Coffee LakeRadeon RX 580 sound cardI have the internal audio disabled. I have also attached my config.plist file.I have the following Kexts installed:FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kextUSBInjectAll.kextFakeSMC.kextWhateverGreen.kextIntelMausiEthernet.kextXHCI-300-series-injector.kextLilu.kextThank you. config.plist
2. Hi people, I'm having some issues getting my hackintosh to work 100%. It's at 99%, and the only problem that I have is with shutdown/restart. Whenever I try to shutdown or restart my computer, it will go to the spinner screen, and in the case of a shutdown, the spinner will just be stuck and the computer will not shutdown, while in the case of a restart the spinner will be just a sad line of 2 or 4 white pixels in the bottom half of the screen, with the computer also failing to do anything else, forcing me to either shut down the PSU using it's on/off switch or by pressing the case's restart button. I may also add that I, before buying a RX 570, had a working setup with the UHD 630, it would shutdown/restart without a problem (if the primary video output port in the bios was set to PCI01). I have also made an USB SSDT patch for the 15-port limit, but that has not helped. Anyways, here's my setup: MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G84) SMBIOS iMac19,2 (if that matters) i3-8100 UHD 630 (Device ID 0x3E98, enabled in bios) Gigabyte RX 570 Gigabyte B360M-D3H No extra PCI cards Also, my config.plist, my USB SSDT patch, and a screenshot of my kexts and drivers folders are attached. config.plist SSDT_USB.aml
3. Good morning, I've the following pieces of hardware: - i7 6700K - GTX 1080 - Asus Z170 Deluxe - NVME hard drives Yesterday I've successfully completed a High Sierra installation (I can't migrate to Mojave due to missing NVIDIA web drivers) but the system (even though it works correctly) seems to show a kernel panic at every shutdown/reboot. Please find the RunMe.app report attached. A couple of notes: - I've installed the audio kexts through the acidanthera AppleALC procedure - I've generated the SSDT with pikessdt script - Nvidia web drivers have been installed with the vulgo/webdriver.sh script that requires the WhateverGreen and the ngfxcompat=1 boot argument - AirportBrcmFixup.kext, BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext have been used to unlock the full potential of the integrated Wi-Fi card - I've tried to clean nvram and motherboard CMOS with no avail - I've tried to update Clover to the latest version but it always results in an unbootable system It's a pity because everything seems to work correctly (USB ports, graphics, Wifi card, Continuity and so on. I haven't tried sleep but I don't use it anyway ) but this crash is fairly annoying. Thank you very much, Alesss *tries summoning @MaLd0n for some help * Send me Ales-iMac.zip
4. Hi to all! I've installed Yosemite on: - i5 4690 - ASRock H87M Pro4 (with intel ethernet I219-V) (IntelMausiEthernet, AppleIntelE1000 and RehabMan for I219V kexts) - 8gb ddr3 RAM - 1tb hard disk If I disable I219-V from BIOS, when I shutdown it, don't reboots (tested with all kexts) If I enable I219-V from BIOS, when I shutdown it, the system reboots. How can I fix this? Thanks!
5. Hi. I apologize in advance if I didn't post in the right category and if my title and description aren't specific enough :c My config in a nutshell: CPU: i7 5820k GPU: MSI GTX 1060 3GB RAM: 16 GB MOBO: MSI X99 SLI PLUS I attached RunMe output with all the details of my built. Some background: I have my Hackintosh for about half a year. That time I managed to make it works and fix major issues, but some of them left unresolved since then and I ignored them until now. I use my Hackintosh for Adobe projects (PR, AE, PS, IL, AU and a lot more) - most of them connected with video editing of course browsing with Chrome and other small tasks. Problems: Random restarts - this is the biggest one. I'm starting to work on bigger and bigger projects and at this time I think I can't allow this to happen that often. In the past, they happened like once a day or a couple of times a week. However, now it's just frustrating when it happens even 5 or more times a day. I've tried to observe and find out what can be the cause but I haven't managed to find any connections. I thought it happens when Premiere or another app is using GPU, but I haven't seen increased usage when it restarts. I think that it can be connected with GPU, memory or PSU or... meh, anything else. I don't have resources to check if it'll work with other components. There should be some fix for this. I will really appreciate any help with this :c Restart instead of shutdown & sleep doesn't work. I've tried to look through some Google results for this and tried many solutions (as you can see in attached Clover folder), but I think the right one for many of these issues is to make my own DSDT. Glitches, freezes and other things while encoding a video. It happens very often when I try to do this. Maybe it is an issue with GPU or (hopefully) only with GPU drivers which can be fixed with some patch. Today my headphones stopped working. I have a multi-output device configured in the Audio MIDI Setup app which includes my headphones (HyperX Cloud via USB) and Soundflowerbed virtual audio device for capturing system audio. Today while I was trying (like 15 times) to encode a video in Media Encoder in the background and watch video on YouTube I stopped hearing anything from my system. Of course, it restarted a couple of times as always, but even this didn't solve this. If I plug them directly with mini jack (not via USB Soundcard which was in the box and which I always used) in the front IO or the back I only hear some loud noise It takes EX-Fat formatted volumes a few minutes to mount after each restart. I found a workaround to format it with NTFS since I have Tuxera installed and I will reformat these volumes when I will find time for this, but maybe there is some fix for this. GPU is a little bit hot. HW Monitor shows it is only 45-55 degrees, but for my hand is a little bit hot, idk. Also related to GPU - glitch after POST but before entering Clover boot menu. It is a black screen with little white squared glitches for a few seconds. Maybe it indicates the GPU drivers are loading, but maybe it shouldn't be like this. And if I can ask about that - I can't make all applications hide on startup. I, obviously, have "Hide" checkbox checked on every login item in settings, but it doesn't work, none of the apps is hidden in the dock. Is there a way to fix this? Also a small but annoying problem - I can't turn off permanently Mojave update notification (since I tried to install it, and I had to reverse to High Sierra because I had a black screen and I didn't have time for repairing all of them. Tags are not working in Finder - every time I tag a file or folder and make a change in it (for example save a text file) the tag disappears. So, with knowing all of that, is there a way to make a proper DSDT file for my Hackintosh? I tried to look through some guides on how to make it but I think I reached my abilities to understand how Mac OS works and what all of these things are, so I'm asking you guys politely, would someone like to help me? At least with these random restarts? :/ I really begin to think that I'm a newbie in configuring all of that Clover things - even after what I managed to do with my PC. Help me, pleease... :c If you have any questions post it below, I will really appreciate any help <3 Send me MBP-Gorec.home.zip
6. Hello everybody, I'm from Brazil, if someone wants to write in portuguese, i will understand too. But english is fine. Days ago I installed the High Sierra, using the image (HighSierraAMD V2 UEFI.dmg). I have an FX8320e, the Asus M5A78L-M / USB3 mobo, GTX 750 and 12GB of RAM. Well, I build Hackintosh to run audio programs. Everything is working except the USB audio card on the card. But I read that some gyus updates to 10.13.4 or higher and it work. But I have some problem with startup and shutdown. I had installed the Clover in different ways, but it did not appear at startup. If I do not use the pen drive to boot, I do not have access to the system. I've tried different solutions. I formatted the EFI partition using the Terminal and reinstalled the Clover, but it also did not work. The other problem is the shutdown. The system goes off, but the fans and the mobo remains on. I need to manually press the on/off button to turn off the computer. I had used the Clover Configurations App to set the flag (shutdonw fix) but it not work too. I think this might be related to the boot problem. Thanks for any help!
7. Hi all, first of all, my specs: Acer V5-573g, i5-4200U + Intel 8 Series. i'm using Clover+ KernelPM(XCPM). at first i got the shutdown issue, so i applied the patch below to fix it: Before _PTS: OperationRegion (PMRS, SystemIO, 0x1830, One) Field (PMRS, ByteAcc, NoLock, Preserve) { , 4, SLPE, 1 } In _PTS: then the laptop can shutdown/restart successfully in most cases. but after several days, i found that the laptop can't shutdown/restart after long time running when i set the "energy saver": display never turns off(and also never sleep), then after several hours, if i click the shutdown button, the laptop can't shut down.(normally it can) what's stranger is that when i click the restart button, but the laptop shut down actually(but it seems to be not really same as the normal shutdown, it takes a little bit more time)... and if the laptop runs for a several hours and go to sleep automatically, then it can't be woke up from the sleep state, yeah sleep to death... there's no such kind of log information about "CPU halted" when the computer can't be shut down. I would really appreciate if anyone has some ideas and advices of the problems and tell me what i should do! Thanks in advance!
8. Hey guys, since I cannot find a solution to my problem anywhere, I think it is time once again to start a thread and ask you. As the title says, Mavericks won't shut down completely. It just gets to the point where my screens have turned off, but fans, blu-ray drive, etc. are still running, forcing me to manually hit the power button for 4 seconds. Interestingly restart works just fine (restart fix is applied, but I think it would even work without). Also my shutdown log is apparently ok. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Lukas

Boot/Shutdown problem

Hello everyone, This is two days I am facing a problem I can not solve . It makes me completely crazy, that's why I implore you for your help. I have a desktop computer that I use for hackintoshing since 2008, I went through all versions of OS X Leopard and since I never had any worries. After all installed (5 or 6 times) , I 've realized that when I turn off the pc I (  > shutdown ) , thereafter it is impossible to restart OS X. The screen remains frozen AFTER boot: init6 with an fixed " underscore ". The only thing is when I can do is to start on my hard drive where Vista is installed (I'll even display password ) and then restart on my hard drive or is OS X, and there is no problem starting ... For cons , I can restart (  > restart ) , sleep or wake up without any problems. I 'm reinstall , change some options, nothing works arghhhh I took screenshots of my console, my Clover configuration and kexts used below. Note: Kexts are too in S/L/E I now have to go, I'll be right on time. Thank you in advance. clover_config_1.tiff clover_config_2.tiff clover_config_3.tiff clover_config_4.tiff clover_config_5.tiff console_log_1.tiff console_log_2.tiff console_log_3.tiff console_log_4.tiff console_log_5.tiff console_log_6.tiff console_log_7.tiff kexts_efi_sle_part.tiff

IOGraphicsFamily kernel panic

Hey guys, Since either Developer Preview 2 or 3 I have a strange problem - a kernel panic occurs on each shutdown and each restart. In addition to that CMOS gets cleared on each shutdown (not on restart). The whole dump is available below. If anyone has the same problem, please provide info on which version of OS X it first happened, if it still happened in the latest you tried and which boot loader incl. version you use. It happened for me since DP2 or 3 all the way through to DP6, beta inclusive. I used quite a few Clover builds, v2795 and onwards. I didn't try the builds since v2800, but there is no sign that any of these could fix the problem (I will try them later, of course, probably in the evening); not even that Clover is the cause of the problem. I might do some experiments with some DPs and Clover versions and will update the thread if I succeed. In mean time please share you experiences. Thank you! Full KP: http://www.pastebin.com/HwM0dyEr
13. Hi guys, I made a proper install of Mavericks on my PC everything was working fine and today when I booted my OS X partition it shutdown after the greyscreen. I've already repaired the permissions with the usb key partition. I've tried to start with -x -v but it don't event boot here is the screenshot of what I got. Here is my config : Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z SSD OCZ Vertex3 120Gb AMD Radeon R9 270X Thank for your help.
14. Hey everyone, first time posting, so let's see how this goes. I created my first clover hack on r3079, and everything has been working. I then fixed iMessage, then decided to update to r3094, and now r3113. This is when things get weird. Ever since these updates, whenever I boot my machine, I now am occasionally able to boot into Yosemite fine, but most of the time I have to press the space bar and select "Boot OS X without caches" or the system hangs at halfway through the loading bar. Is there anywhere to forgo this? I've tried rebuilding my caches multiple times, and nothing seems to be working. On top of this, sometimes when I shutdown, my desktop doesn't actually shut down and reboots itself, and I get an error message when OS X boots saying there was a problem with shutting down and the system restarted itself. Can anyone help with this? Additional Info: In my BIOS I have all of the lower Advanced CPU settings disabled, such as EIST and C-States for stability of my overclock. config.plist.zip
15. I'm running 10.10.4 with Clover Bootloader Everything works find except I couldn't shutdown my computer completely (The Power LED is still on and the Fan is still spinning) Tried a lot of solutions on the forum but none of it works. 18. Hola! He intentado mi maneras y no consigo arreglar el error.

20. As per the title, I have Yosemite running well, using Clover as a bootloader, but while the computer seems to wake from sleep OK, there is a problem, as it will abruptly shut down 5 - 10 minutes later. I haven't had these shutdowns except after waking from sleep. Attached is my Clover config.plist I am using an off-the-shelf DSDT.aml which I found for my motherboard, but which I guess may not be 100% right for my components. I've attached that too. Any suggestions on settings to tweak, or where to start looking for clues? config.plist.zip DSDT.aml.zip

22. Hi, I have installed El Capitan (downloaded from App Store) with ##### method (Clover bootloader). Everything worked out of the box (except audio which I fixed with #####) but my new hackintosh does not turn off. Reboot is working just fine. Shutting down through UI turns off the monitor but hdd and CPU keep running. I tried sudo halt and it used to turn off the PC immediately but this is not a healthy shut down method and it is not working anymore. I tried sudo shutdown -h now but it could not turn off. My system: GA-P43-ES3G Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Using NullCPUPowerManagement kext with SMBIOS iMac9,1 I am not using a patched DSDT simply because everything worked out of the box. I am using a USB mouse and a USB camera and both were recognized and working flawlessly. Anyone that can help me? Thanks!
