fantomas
@kgp Hi, I don't think it's due to Cloudflare's security level being too aggressive or misconfigured. I even think the settings are default, but since this is happening on the server side, I'll let the owner investigate (own servers or hosting providers). In any case, since Nov. 2025 we have had peaks reaching around 3000 registrations on the 1st of each month (mostly bots and spam counts), this may be one of the causes. 4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334182-site-issues/page/11/#findComment-2849385 Share on other sites
XanthraX
Hi all, My default browser is Orion. All Sunday I could not enter this site, because of the endless loop of Cloudflare human's verification. I could enter with Safari. So I cleared all caches and cookies in Orion and after a restart of Orion the site worked. I only see the Cloudflare's verification, one stage. I hope it helps. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334182-site-issues/page/11/#findComment-2849386 Share on other sites
MakAsrock
My default browser is Safari. All Sunday, I was unable to access the website due to an infinite Cloudflare security check loop. Because of this, I cleared all caches and cookies. Now, I only see the first phase of the Cloudflare check. I have an Israeli ISP IP, I don't use a VPN or other browsers, and this behavior occurs regardless of the device or OS: MacBook, Hackintosh, Windows PC, or an Android smartphone. strangeron
I deleted the cookies via Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data. This may take a few seconds. This website uses a security service to protect against malicious bots. This page is displayed while the website verifies you're not a bot. Verification successful. Waiting for a response from insanelymac.com But until you refresh the page, nothing happens. kgp
This Cloudflare issue is getting really frustrating. Today, I lost several drafts of longer posts and guides due to repeated verification prompts — despite being logged in. This seriously disrupts normal usage. 2 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334182-site-issues/page/11/#findComment-2849456 Share on other sites
XanthraX
It is annoying. It can be almost fixed by clearing caches and cookies, but also need to give the credentials back. Guarding the treasure is good, but overguarding can be very annoying. It is annoying to clean caches and cookies every day. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334182-site-issues/page/11/#findComment-2849556 Share on other sites

deeveedee
I suspect that the Cloudflare issues are regional/geographic. The site sometimes logs me off automatically seconds after login. EDIT: I can complete short posts by saving the posts periodically and then editing them with additional content. If I take more than 10 seconds to create a post, I'm logged out before the post is saved. EDIT2: This is a very effective way to throttle new content. miliuco
Different thing, since last night I have an issue uploading files attached to posts, specifically in the thread "About This Hack (2009-Nissan-Cube version migrated to SwiftUI)" in Hackintool Tools. I can't upload any file bigger than a few KB. Tried from 2 different hacks. kgp
@Allan, @dima2duo, there is another small bug left when using InsanelyMac on my iPhone. When I close Safari and later reopen it with an InsanelyMac tab still active, I get a “This Connection Is Not Secure” message and cannot proceed. The page is effectively blocked until I tap “Go Back” (1) and then manually reload the page (2). This behaviour is new and occurs consistently when resuming a previously open InsanelyMac tab in Safari on iOS. For me, I just click on "Continue" and it never shows again. This can happen with another sites too, and with ones 100% safe ones. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334182-site-issues/page/11/#findComment-2849709 Share on other sites
