Virtualball
You can use iPod Linux, but believe me, it really isn't that good with videos. They aren't compressed and on such a small player, that really is a blow.
Keamas
Do you have some more informations about this mv Player ? What video files does it support ? Is it difficult to install ? Can I sync it normal with my itunes? and does it sync my video podcasts ?

They aren't compressed and on such a small player, that really is a blow.  mvpd files are compressed videos  @ Keamas - Install iPodLinux using http://miche.aqua-gero.com/ and then install mvpd with http://ipodlinux.org/Mv_player  It can't sync with iTunes, it doens't work with podcasts, and you have to convert each video manually. If you don't feel like doing that, then you might as well just go away.
Virtualball
@ Keamas - Install iPodLinux using http://miche.aqua-gero.com/and then install mvpd with http://ipodlinux.org/Mv_player  Shameless little plug  But i always thought mvpd didn't have sound, then again I havent read the 4587357834 page topic  So...how old are you? pololebreton1
Hi all  I read somewhere that IPL could not be installed since Apple updated the Ipod firmware to 1.2 Does the Miche installer fits for an ipod Nano with 1.2 firmware in it ? Should the Ipod be formated in FAT32 or HF+ before running the installer ? Thank you for clarifications.. Polo

They have sucky interfaces, don't work with iTunes or AAC, some don't work wtih Macs/Hackintoshes, there's no support, and they just generally suck...
