Regi i've the same MOBO, and the same problem with FakeSMC Sensors... they cause random kernel panic on startup "kernel backtrace hang on boot..."

I'll setup soon ssdt's like you but i've very little time for it. Could someone help for this?

i am currently having fakesmc slice version. with only cpu monitor, 

u want my patched folder?

 

 

my current problem is with or without voodootsc, still get unsync tsc for cpu bla bla bla. (only after wake from sleep)

can someone tell me how to get rid of it?

what should i put for darkwake value?

i can sleep without darkwake bootargs, 

tested darkwake=0,1,8. all my pc can sleep and wake, only the tsc problem

 

edit: still getting those errors with hibernate 3. only with TSC_sync_margin=0 i can get rid of those errors after wake from sleep. (with or without voodootsc the output is the same, tried in s/l/e, l/e, clover kext inject, all same)

I've BIOS 3402 Patched to unlock MSRSx02; i have patched from usb flash port.

The latest BIOS 3701 is more stable? Do you have .CAP patched file v.3701 and could you post it too?

With SSDTs u dont have a essential patches!

Back in time and read about essential patches to avoid conflicts, SATA, USB, AUDIO, FIREWIRE, THUNDERBOLT, etc, etc ;)

Ur hack work good without ur SSDTs, its a generic :)

if it was me, i just checking system stability without dsdt, only ssdt's.

 

mald0n, can i ask a question? if so, what is voodootsc do? why is it (voodootsc) helping people with wake issue even booting without it just fine?

i think the Pike patches solve it, i use 3 patches in config.plist

i dont know about Asus, but GIgabyte is fine, no problem about it

Same performance in High Sierra with same patches, but have log errors

Asus MoBo has MSR 0xe2 CFG locked, Gigabyte it's factory unlocked... it's better patching BIOS like Pike said in his blog

i've read something here, is it different patch from locked e2?

The patch e2 that you've post it's the same... uefi patch, patched values for unlock MSR 0xe2 on Asus mobo.

HI guys, I'm trying to make xcpm or any kind of speedstep work on 10.12.5 running on MSI x99a with xeon E5-2630L v3 and can't make it happen. On 10.11.6 speedstep works just fine with the same clover config. I tried all possible kernel patches, with and without generated ssdt by ssdtPRGen.sh, nothing helps. The speedstep just doesn't work. With attached clover config.plist xcpm speedstep works just fine on MSI x99a Krait + xeon e5-2630L v3 +10.12.5

hey there. Thank you. So do i need to replace the ACPI files and all the kexts? I got kernel panic because of the cpupowermanagement.

 

Update:

Works fine with NullCPUPowerManagement.kext. No i got sound. But how can i fix powermanagement?
