Asmedia and VL805 ( http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/usb-3-x-pcie-cards-for-classic-mac-pro.1501482/page-69) chips are supported OOB. If you disable USB2 and plug everything to USB3, no need of any fixes. Then you will see USB in system report.
