@Duran, we need only work at AVX, then the FX CPUs should also run without problems...... I hope....

Hey itisme754,

There is nothing wrong with OS X so upgrading to 10.11.4 will not help, this is purely a AMD problem.

I am on 10.11.4 too (forgot to change it in my signature) but now theres beta #3...

I'm thinking maybe it could fix the problem cause when I was on 10.11.3, I had graphic problems and now on 10.11.4 they're fixed.

got 10.11.4 beta 3 15E39c. same bugs dude. kernel updated. vanilla usb kexts still not fully working . same kernel bugs . i think its CPU interpreting data on kernel what makes it buggy. (very obvious lolol) . i can paste url for all of you guys to dowload it and test it ;D (10.11.4 beta 3)

In fact every cpu is using the fastest instruction set that supports (if available by the running program) to compute data faster,it's hardcoded on cpu programming,new intel cpus are using AVX2 old amd's sse3,old intels ssse3..etc.FX are using sse4.1(it's newer and faster than AVX), maybe we need another emulator like sse4.1toAVX2 to fix that bug.

maybe we need mach kernel + old cpu instruction patching to make a univ. kernel (just a theory ;D) avx2 (advanced vector extensions : ivy bridge , haswell) +avx (sandy bridge , fx bulldozer supports sse4.2 =) )+sse4.1+sse3+etcetera

correct, sse4.2 is the fastest set for FX but it doesn't change much.Since we can't change cpu behavior and all the kernels with or without sse4.2 enabled failed to fix the icons..I think we need to try to translate lets say AVX2 to sse4.2 thats why i spoke for a new emulator, or maybe it's not the kernel at all,kernels primary function is to load programms,maybe some program not loading or needs patching.---still have a hunch that maybe the fix is in the installation files--

i say AVX2 to sse4.2 because they are almost equally fast.

Another idea is to disable every new set from the kernel (sse4.1 ,4.2,avx,..etc) and let the kernel run with ssse3 with or without the openemu (ssse3 was Yosemite's pre reqested if i remember correct) the fact is that we will have a slow kernel/system but if our theories are correct it will fix the bug.

never booted dude. tried lots of things. kernel opcode error... unmounting kexts... kernel... killing all processes mesages. Cpu halted.

Mine booted but icons bug is still there. Also, safari crashes sometimes.
