Hi!

Does Skylake's integrated graphics work fully on your setup?

Cheers!

I can boot up with both enabled Radeon 5850 and integated Intel 7000 chip, but I didn't find a correct framebuffer data yet. My display get signal from the intel chip, but the rotation not works and I get other bugs.

I added initial Broadwell support too. http://d-h.st/UDQ9

Owh,, i try your CPUSensor.kext for BROADWELL CPU and it's not working. Your CPUSensor.kext will make my notebook stuck at

FakeSMCKeyStore : started

ACPI

Like the officila 6.18.1394, can you check it again Majonez?

Did anybody patched (and flashed) Gigabyte Z170X bios for locked 0xE2, with the new patches to add to CodeRush's UEFIPatch?

Don't know just here are some links for others to help understand what you are talking about:

Hello,

Could you please share your EFI folder ? I have that exactly same motherboard - Z170X Gaming 5, And I edit my dsdt and ssdt unsuccessful.

Hi,

Here is my EFI folder link.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/win6k4lvfndnz8p/EFI.zip?dl=0

I still have trouble with My USB 3.0 ports, I haven't found a working solution for my USB ports and Intel HD 530 is not yet fully functional.

Besides there is a wierd problem sometimes when i right click on an item my finder freezes and the Beach Ball won't stop sppining so i have to reset the computer. It's been solved by disabling "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" in Energy Saver preferences.

For Audio I used VoodooHDA 2.8.8 and it only works on front panel audio not back panel! Solved by using Yassinex's configurations.

I hope you find the EFI folder useful.

Hi,

Thank you, I have the same problem with usb 3.0. You can try this audio driver, I run it perfect.

Did you patch your DSDT?

It doesn't seem to work for me, I didn't patch my DSDT and it gives me some error about IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/Audio/disabled or APIC problem.

So I decided to give the good old Yosemite a shot, and bam! it was up an running in no time, USB 3.0 ports working just fine, Audio is to be tested.

I'll update you guys as soon as I complete the process.

Cheers!

Hi Majonez,

good work, thanks.

I do have 16GB 2800 MHz DDR4, but it shows 16GB 3200 MHz DDR4.

Any idea?

You can fix your memory info with clover configurator under SMBIOS's memory section. Pick and type the correct memory info and it will show correctly in About This Mac and System Profiler.
