I'm currently coding parts of the SSE3 emu.

Unfortunetely it has no long double (128 bit) fp truncation in newlib so I decided to code one myself.

I almost have it done.

Still minor bug to tweak where fp values of 1.x get truncated to 0 (I'll work that out, don't worry ;))

without -emulateintel is ok for L2 and L3

Is it what with kernel? :)

Bronya's latest kernel also fixes the time problems, like time changing exponentially / time changing when opening apps :)

if opening apps time changing , maybe need add support pm_timer ...
What is your cpu amd and family ? you send to me in PM.

Oh sorry... the last two kernel have the same problem with the L2 cache

BSA Kernel and Kernel Beta RC1

I did not notice this problem before because I was using not emulateintel ...

So I tested the last two Kernel with or without an emulateintel and there the same concern on both ...

 

Without emulateintel L2 and L3 is ok on BSA & Beta RC1 Kernel

With emulateintel L3 is ok but L2 is not good on BSA & Beta RC1 Kernel

I implemented the truncl function but it doesn't work right in combination with fistpq.

So I did a test.

Without truncl.

Ran over 20000000 values with small increments/decrements: no difference...

So truncation only for fisttps and fisttpl...

Work continues.

maybe but allows me to doubt if caches really missed you do not even started OS X because it is the basic operation of the CPU, which would be directly affected. I think more of the cosmetic order, we have seen that several times until Sinetek, our savior! opengl is the bug.
