I just changed my refresh rate from 60 Hertz to 59.9 and the Pink Launchpad is now gone! Seems like it's the only thing that is cured of the Pink syndrome so far though. Still Messages is pink .. iMovies display looks like garbled bunch of graphic junk..

The option to change my refresh rate is greyed out in Display prefs.

You better install the app provided by Duran, this just force the launchpad to be redrawn, once you reboot BAM they're all pink again and then you'll need to change you refresh rate also for it to work again...

My clock running backwards jumping around....Family 15 Athlon 64 X2 3800+

Glis - always use Voodootscynch.kext - video runs smooth and audio too....no glitches...just clock running erratic

have patched crypto.kext too.... are there different versions maybe?? I downloaded the one u pointed to also.

Does it matter on Mav if you have kext in E/E ? I have tscynch in E/E...

SEE Screen shot... taken at 845 pm North America, clock shows 1:35 pm~~!!

Busratio= and a new version of chameleon don't help. Bronya or someone else, do you have a solution? The BSA 3 kernel works fine on my FX6100. BSA 4 and mach_10_9_beta_rc4 don't work fine. Clock is running too slow.

What's the difference between BSA 3 an BSA 4?

Latest Bronya kernel boots fine with patched core crypto.kext

BUT

Clock still jump around unless Date Time Pref Pane is open... must be timing problem...something

with bios and update to time signal.... only have problem on this machine with Mavericks....

Pink icons still with Launchpad....

So still 2 bugs...  Family 15 processor  AMD athlon 64 X2 3800+

2 bugs? So you haven't got icons bug on desktop or dock? post-1100208-0-20914800-1385044279.png :o

To the time issue - maybe your computer clock (RTC on motherboard) is broken? Try to search some apps, which synchronize time with internet (1synch per 3seconds).

Well I tried many times... with Chameleon, Chimera and Clover.... every time I get a KP like this:

post-513502-0-06932900-1385044207_thumb.jpg

same thing every time, I had on defaults and non-defaults ... nothing changed... with safe boot, blacklist, fsb + busratio, all the flags I can think of. Still no go. I will keep trying and seeif something works. This setup still boots with kernel_bsa2 and others.

apllIIC this fixed my same problem.... try it.

Anyone understand the timing that NTP uses to check the bios clock and update from apple time site? Time works ok if .plist is open > why? ... what is difference if .plist open or closed on desktop>?

Thanks Dans... yeah I've tried core crypto patched and stock from dvd core crypto they both work with all kernels of Bronzovska up until beta_rc_3... (also with AnV's kernels + latest)

no worries ... sometimes thats the way it goes with testing...

I have a feeling though that Bronya is on the right track

That the kernel works on other systems and not mine could be a good sign, :happymac: also, I think it can be part of this awfully elusive png and desktop icns bug. --perhaps   :) just my  :2cents:
