Good to know...

OK so you have a

XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 HD577X-ZNFC

The one I have which doesn't work is a

XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 HD577A-ZNFC

I think it's the 577A and not the 577X that has issues for some reason.

I have XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 HD577A-ZNFC, I flashed this VGA bios from http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/58317/X...024.090926.html and I have full support with GE=Yes

nVidia Quadro FX 3700 QE/QI does not worh with any combination. In Snow (10.6.8) works with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, but not in Lion.

Visiontek AMD HD5450 works (with full CI/QE) using ATI5000Injector.kext (originally developed for SL) and copied to /S/L/E in Lion. Only other non-native kexts are lnx2mac RTL811x Ethernet kext (wired Ethernet), VoodooHDA 2.72 (built-in audio) and FakeSMC (fewer than Snow, surprisingly - Snow also requires ATY_Init.kext and an image of my GPU's ROM).

USB stick (Tenda W311U) uses a *native* SL driver from the manufacturer (in both Snow and Lion).

I've also added SheepShaver for OS X to my Lion application/utility pool (something I'd never run in Snow).

The GPU is the original 512 MB fanless PCIe version (I have every reason to believe the 1 GB version now shipping will also work).

You are a lifesaver. My Sapphire HD5450 is now working (almost) perfectly with Lion. Just used the download from here dropped it in /SL/E, turned GraphicsEnabler back on and all is well: DVD Player and Geekbench are working perfectly. Card is identified by Chameleon as an ATI Radeon HD 5430M and that's what appears in System Profiler.

The almost is because the display now won't sleep. It stops updating when display sleep is requested (current image is frozen on display) and updates as normal once you have left display sleep by tapping a key.

Thank you for the pointer! :unsure:

Confirming that GTX 560 Ti is working now.

What I did:

Added the following to com.apple.Boot.plist

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>ncpi=0x2000</string>

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>

<string>yes</string>

<key>PCIRootUID</key>

<string>0</string>

Also added EFI strings from osx86 tools

Changed

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>
<string>
 0x06c010de&0xffe0ffff
 0x0dc010de&0xffc0ffff
 0x0e2010de&0xffe0ffff
 0x0ee010de&0xffe0ffff
 0x0f0010de&0xffc0ffff
 0x104010de&0xffc0ffff
 0x124010de&0xffc0ffff
 0x120010de&0xffc0ffff
</string>

to

<key>IOPCIMatch</key>
<string>0x120010de</string>

in NVDAGF100Hal.kext > Contents > info.plist (note, use your own uid above)

Full Resolution, full QE/CI, geekbench doesn't crash (13493 score), DVD (I'm assuming people mean the DVD player app) doesn't crash either.

Please update the OP with instructions so people can easily find them. Thanks

Edit: I still need to test HDMI and my second DVI port.. will update when I have a chance to do so

Is this 560 Ti spesific or should it work for other fermi cards, like mine GTX 460 1GB?

Works

Video Card: EVGA 01G-P3-1372-TR GeForce GTX 460

All, not freeze, fps 31

GE= YES

My GTX 460 doesn't work (No QE/CI), how did you manage that?

I can't really say, but I don't see the harm in trying. Just make sure you use your card's specific id's and whatnot.

Sapphire HD4670 512MB DDR3. Fully working with DP4 & The update for it.

VGA works without GraphicsEnabler, but cant start DVD Player by this way.

With GraphicsEnabler=yes and AtiConfig=Flicker no any restrictions .. Everything work perfectly..

I can confirm that my ASUS E8800GT card works with DVI>HDMI adapter! Using a rebadged HP w2408 monitor that only has VGA and HDMI inputs. I only had to rename the 8800gt rom file that's floating around the boards and place it in /Extra.
