please, can anybody help me to install it on my laptop?? I don't understand....

EDIT:

What I exactyl want is:

One Hard Drive with

- Mac OSX (250GB)

- Windows 7 64 Bits (250GB)

All in the same hard drive, in partitions.

Now the status of my computer is NEW (with the factory installation)

Don't know how to start...

Thanks

EDIT2:

Ok, I'm following the first tutorial and I get stuck in the begining...

You will need a DSDT custom tailored for YOUR particular machine.

The DSDT library is empty :S How can I get one for my laptop?? Thanks

Please help!!

@Taptun :)

@ Taptun

Just to express my gratitude for a quick and excellent work on the Mach_Kernel . It works !! Now we can run all cores and treads on our CPU i7.

Not sure what will it take for some people like us to learn how to implement or apply some or your knowledge on creating and fixing our own Kernels ?

Thanks again Taptun , you are the MAN !!! :D

Hope we can solve or fix our audio soon , this will make our systems almost completes again ,

attached is the pic of cores working .... :)

Hi Guys,

I've been working all night to fix audio for 10.7.

Thanks to bcc9's patcher script and basing on taptun's fixes for 10.6 I've managed to create a working solution for 10.7.

Attaching the patched AppleHDA.kext and the injector .kext (put in /E/E and run ChamExtUp).

Remember to run myfix afterwards.

Use the same HDEF DSDT patch as for taptuns, cause I left the layout at 888.

Sorry, I posted this in the old threat first ! So I try this here again Hi Mammoth, I saw your guides for DVx HP Notebooks. I am using a DV9314EA bought in France a couple of years ago. I saw in different threats that you had a kind of DV9000. But today you are using a DV8. I was wondering if I could use your guide for Mac OS X installation ??? If not, do you still have a Guide for my notebook ? It's a Intel based one with a Core 2 Duo T5300 Geoforce 7600 Go with 256 Mb of memory. I would be very gratefull if I could use my old HP for building iPad/iPhone applications ???? I thank you in advance for any help on this. Sorry if my english is not perfect, I'm french...

Hi,

I'm having a problem trying to get this guide working on my laptop. During the first stage I keep getting the following error after selecting my language in the OSX install screen.

"Mac OS X Cannot be Installed on this computer"

My process is:

Boot from the Boot CD

Swap to the OSX DVD when the Cameleon screen comes up

Hit F5 when the DVD light goes out

Select OSX DVD and hit Enter

Wait for language screen, select English and then hit the small arrow button, bottom right

On the next screen I get the Error. My only options are restore from a Time Machine or Reboot

My specs are as follows:

Boot CD: Mammoth DVxt Boot CD - v1.15a

OSX Install DVD: iMac Mac OS X Install DVD - Mac OS version 10.6.4

Laptop: HP Pavilion DV6-2119TX

Link: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...lc=en&lc=en

Laptop Specs:

Graphics system - NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M

Drive 1 Capacity - 640GB

Processor series - Intel Core i7

Processor model - Intel Core i7-720QM

Processor speed (GHz) - 1.6

Standard Memory (GB) - 4

Ethernet - Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000)

Wi-Fi - 802.11 a/b/g/n

Screensize - 15.6

Native Resolution - 1,366x768

Any advice to get past this error would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Are you trying to duel boot Snow and Windows? or just Snow? Partition formatting and load order "could" cause that issue. Do you have a DSDT for "Your" computer? Your specs are very similar to mine, and I would be happy to help. Although I have no knowledge of the boot cd. I originally did my hack from a flash drive.... Had everything working on snow leopard (except built in sd card reader), now almost there with lion, thanks to the help of others ;)

@Mammoth, I have created a apic kernel panic fix for the newest Lion kernel.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=263342

I pretty much a fully working system. Video, Sound, Bluetooth, Camera, DSDT, Keyboard, Trackpad, USB's, DVDRW, Fingerprint no but working on it because the people that build the chips are authentec and they have mac drivers. LAN yes, Wireless Yes.

Enjoy :(
