cautaro
@ottoman - did you get your p35 ds3l working with the modified boot 132 bootloader? If yes, can you please post the iso used and any other information. As you can see from my post above, i'm having some trouble. Thanks, Hey Ottoman, I have the same mobo as you. Are you using SATA drives? If so, what kexts did you use? I'm getting 'still waiting for root device' message because I don't have the appropriate kexts. MACinized
for first boot in dvd use 9f which is default, just switch discs and boot with -v or -v -f if you want will u know why "9f" won't work in my case? my sata optical drive is set to boot first (configured in the bios) but instead of typing "80" or "81" (which are my hdds), tried "9f" but i'm just back to the "80 or 81 option". any advice pls. colorfuel
Hello, I have a few questions : I have VISTA64 on one sata disk and leo4all on the other, and I use the chain0 method to choose whcih one to boot from. Mobo is a EP35-DS4 Bios F3, and a 8800GT Nvidia Now I wanted to make a fresh "vanilla" install with boot-132, so I have a few questions 1. Will I be able to install Leo in guid? Or will I still need to install on mbr to dualboot with VISTA64? 2. Can I use chamaeleon with Leo and replace the chain0 method? Will it automatically detect my VISTA installation? 3. Can efi-strings be included in boot-132 or do they have to be installed after OSX has been installed? Do I need those efi-strings to be able to update from 10.5.0 to 10.5.4 without having to make an nvinject? I still have to learn a lot I suppose..
