diamondsw
This is working great on my Eee 901 - other kext's were reporting an incorrect max capacity (similar to your original kext). ~Eureka
Chun-nan So does it mean, we can use B14 with AppleACPIPowerSource installed? Hi rals2007, Sorry for the late reply. I have tested it and you can also have AppleACPIPowerSource installed on the system. AppleACPIBatteryManager will be loaded before AppleACPIPowerSource. titooo1
I installed powermanagement.bundle from kalyway 10.5.2 dvd and it seems to show the information properly. dong
The Chun-Nan hack does not modify system kexts, thus hopefully it will still work when you upgrade your system. Are you using the original PowerManagement on your OSX? Which verison of AppleACPIPlatform are you using now? If possible, please offer some informaiton. Thanks. Which version of kernel are you using now? You can download the source code and try to compile it to see if the error goes away. Chun-Nan I am using the original 10.5.4 Power Management bundle. I am using the 1.0.3 ACPIApplePlatform.kext version. I'm running 10.5.4 iatkos. Basically, I install the kexts and nothing happens, I do not see the battery meter, I go to the power saving menu and it doesnt even see that I am on battery. Hi poopmonkey, On the post #243, PsyberS has posted that iATKOS v4 "does not come with the original PowerManagement.bundle". Maybe you can double check the PowerManagement you are using now. In addistion, please post your ioreg_sp.txt here if it still doesn't work. Thanks. kizwan
Hi, Beta 13 kext working flawlessly. However I found out that when there is no battery installed, the power icon indicate "Power Source: Battery". But it detect that there is no battery installed. Chun-Nan, let me know if I need to post anything, dmesg & etc. Right now I'm changing from JaS 10.5.4 to Kalyway 10.5.2, because of stability issue, so I can't post system log or dmesg right now. kizwan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114105-appleacpibatterymanager-for-tiger-and-leopard/page/11/#findComment-878851 Share on other sites
