The newest release does seem to work on counting down time, but not with counting back up till fully charged. It starts at 5 mins no matter how low my battery is.

Hello,

Thanks for this great job !

My eeepc 1000H running OSX 10.5.5 (iDeneb) now has its nice battery icon and the battery management menu.

Everything's fine (icon, remaining time, and so one...) if i don't use my Logitech Wireless Mouse for NoteBooks. If i turn on the computer while the mouse's receiver is plugged then battery information will be wrong: max battery capacity and remaining capacity are the same but both are wrong.

Does anyone have a clue about this issue ?

Thanks,

Ikeke

Working perfectly for me except for one thing: Battery capacity should be 4400mAH, but is showing up as 3584.

HP Pavilion dv9535nr.

EDIT: After full discharge, capacity is now showing as 3456 mAH. Is this value calculated somehow? Is there anywhere I could just manually enter the capacity?

Hi Chun-Nan, i'm experiencing a glitch using b15 of your battery driver, when running on ac power with no battery inserted, the battery icon says 'no battery installed' but 'power source: battery' just below that.

I'm running 10.5.6 vanilla, PC EFI v9 with patched dsdt.aml and stock PowerManagement.bundle, which is 196 Kb large; my pc is an Asus EeePc 1000H.

If that matters i've tried loading the battery kext from /Extra/Extensions as well from /S/L/E with no changes; disk permissions are also good.

Attaching ioreg_sp.txt.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Alex

Hi Chun-Nan,

I tried your kext aka appleacpiruntime.kext...

wow...is this all in one kext for acpi manager, as for acpibattery, backlight and clamshell display.....

and I saw a new device as a virtual audio device, but its okay and doesnt matter.

Many thanks Chun-Nan. ;)

Question :

Why don't you realese this nice kext to forum ?

Hi Romanskij

I got this nice kext at --> http://www.mediafire.com/chunnan

And dont forget to remove appleacpibatery.kext, clamsheeldisplay.kext, laptopdisplay.kext and virtualaudiodriver.kext for avoid kext conflict

and don't forget to remove AppleSMBIOSEFI.kext or SMBIOSResolver.kext. This kext have multiple functionality which are battery info/manager & AppleSMBIOSEFI. You may need to have vanilla AppleSMBIOS.kext.

Hi, I've installed the package, and information about my battery prints as follows. Battery icon appears on reboot just for a fraction of a second. After that, none the icon neither more battery options on System Preferences appear.

I've tried to read the whole topic before asking, but I couldn't find an answer.

Could any point me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Can anyone upload the latest beta on rapidshare? Thanks.
