i edit natit with my dev id and with de secondary display id but then nothing change (it doesnt read the edid of the lcd anymore just that... ) i edit the atix1000 kext with the secondary id and then i get a kernel panic... what else i should try to edit?

I do not understand! At you 7288? If works QE/CI is well! Then delete all natit.kext and atindrv.kext! Take atindrv.kext original and natit.kext from jccool!

Then we write in terminal:

sudo -s

chown -R 0:0 /system/library/extensions

chmod -R 75 /system/library/extensions

kextcache -k -z /system/library/extensions !

Reboot !

There are no problems!

I think the problem is that the AGP cards are not working nearly as well as the PCIe cards. I tried for several days to get my AGP x1950pro working, and I did, kinda. All I could do was get QE/CI enabled. I couldn't get it to recognize AGP instead of PCI, couldn't get dual monitors working, couldn't get mouse tearing fixed completely.

For those reasons I reinstalled my 6600gt which is working perfectly. I sure hope that someone figures out how to get the sapphire x1950pro 512 AGP working, cause I would love to use it instead of the 6600gt.

What for to you AGPGart.kext??? If at you x1950 AGP you should delete AGPGart.kext and edit in folder /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CoreGraphics.framework/Versions/A/Resources/ file Configuration.plist, there find "IOPCIDevice" - replace on IOAGPDevice and keep, repair permissions! Also check up!

There is no point..it's already set to IOAGPDevice(not by me)... :)

If I remove agpgart.kext there is no way to get in systemprofiller agp instead pci...(I do what you say in other post with no luck)

In general, what for you look on Xbench??? Play games and enjoy! And Xbench it can appear a mistake!

I don't know if what i do is ok..this is the reason to use xbench...to see if i get any progress... that results i get is for 9600 not for x1950 PRO!

You say xbench can be wrong? Please elaborate..

for my agp friends I have this special package:

Attached File Natit.agp.zip ( 46.33K ) Number of downloads: 4

Not working...krenell panic..maybe you can explain better... :)

This is my rig...maybe help's...

AMD X2 Opteron 165 @ 2.25 FSB 250

4 GB DDR 400 Qimonda(Infineon)

Gigabyte nforce3 ultra

1x WD Raptor 36 GB Windows

1x Maxtor 80 GB Mac OS X

2x WD 250 GB Raid 0 windows(if you know how i can use it in osx please let me know)

1x WD 400 GB

1x Seagate 80 GB external usb rack

Offtopic:

Also I'm pretty sure something is wrong in my install or drivers because for ex: i try to use volume logic on itunes but what i get is sound noise, without him sound is good... same result with jass 10.4.8, tubgirl 10.4.10, and current uphuck 10.4.9 v4aO...any idea ?

On my T2400 intel laptop is working.... ;)

I've tried the first driver on my pc with a x1950 pro 256 MB PCI-E on a jas 10.4.8. If I use the DVI > Vga adapter, it works. If I don't use the adapter instead, I have no output on my LCD. There's a way to make the driver works also with DVI connector without adapter?

Thanks :D

At you nforce3 is normally, it is better nforce4 <-more strongly!xbench normally defines, simply there are mistakes because of reading hard disk .

At me it has not turned out on DVI, works only through VGA.

Hey someone want to answer this for me. I got my x1950 pro today and realized the power cable does not connect to my mac. I found one on the internet that will connect it (its apples cable they send with special ordered x1900) Is there any place to connect the 4 pin powercable so I dont have to order this other cable.

Also

If I flash this thing to os x will I be able to use it in windows still?

Bronya, you are a star!

i have a PowerColour x1950 Pro 256MB PCIe, running 1680x1050 on a 22" Samsung SyncMaster, now with full QE/CI support. the only thing i can't comment on is the other DVI port, as i only have one screen :)

for those interested, as someone with the exact same card as me mentioned that he kept Jccool's ATINDRV.kext i decided to play safe and do the same. apart from that, all i did was copy over Bronya's files, delete all the other ATI*.* files, remove kext.cache, repair permissions and then reboot. worked like a charm :)

once again, thank you very much.
