My poor 7300GT is keepin me down. :D

Edit: Figured I might as well post my Experience Index screenshot too.. It's kinda weird how the Aero rating is 2.6 and the gaming graphics rating is 3.5... oh well.. >_>

That makes more sense to me. After all the 7300GT is a dedicated card, even if not a high end one.

E2180 is overclocked to 2.66GHz. I'd overclock it to 3.33GHz (so the FSB matches my DDR2-667 RAM), but the Conroe1333 motherboard seems to have an FSB wall of 266, with it's inability to adjust Vcore. A BSEL mod could fix that, but I'm too lazy and don't feel like reapplying paste.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 Stepping overclocked to 8x400 = 3.2ghz for 1:1 ratio with my memory.

HSF: Tuniq Tower 120 with a 5V Zalman 120mm fan pulling air through it from the back.

MOBO: ASUS P5K-E/WiFi-AP, P35 chipset, voltages upped all over this thing.

MEM: G.Skill DDR2-800 4x1GB at 800mhz (1:1 with CPU FSB :)), 4-4-4-12 timings at 2.0V

GFX: XFX 8800GT 512MB, BIOS flashed to 700/1750/1000 made possible with volt soft-mod to 1.1VGPU. Stock cooling :P

PSU: Corsair HX520, 520W Modular PSU

HDD1: WD SE16 750GB

HDD2: WD SE16 750GB

HDD3: WD SE16 500GB

HDD4: WD SE16 500GB

OS: Vista Ultimate x64 with SP1 Release Candidate Technical Refresh (Build 17128)

Same as you just I haven't over clocked my {censored} so only a 5.6 for me. Limiting is RAM Speed, then Harddrive speed and the rest are 5.9s. (I've got an 8800 Ultra.)

I've always thought that Microsoft should have added all the scores together, then divide by that number to get your index score. My score is a 5.2 and the bottleneck is my dual core AMD x2 5200+, go figure, you have to have a 3Ghz system to get the 5.9, other than that everything is 5.9...

The lowest score shouldn't be the index score in my thought!

Ok, I may sound like a n00b here but how high does this scale go and what is decent.

Yes, I do have Vista on my rig but I only run it now in VMWare Fusion. I figure if Vista is going to emulate a decent OS, I should therefor run it in an emulator.

iirc, the scale goes up to 5.9, so if your hardware gets like about a 4.5 or higher, that would be pretty decent...
