That XPC UEFI booter is very old, never worked for me. (in 10.5 time). Maybe because it cant handle AHCI native, i use.
XPC software details:
⁃ The actual release don't manage boot device selection (please use your BIOS to set up priority)
⁃ The actual release don't manage AHCI protocol, please use IDE/USB devices or set SATA as IDE.
⁃ The actual release don't manage kernel flags, the default flag is set to verbose.
⁃ The actual release manage only HFS and FAT file systems

i agree. rEFI (XPC) does an compete different way of booting - no chameleon options like autographics inhection, powermanagement (Pstates & Co). I also will wait. I tried XCP from USB Stick again, and it fails to boot anything (10.6/10.7 in my case).

Insted of old XPC efi, an much more developed efi ##### can be used : http://www.mediafire.com/?72yby127d562cj2
I will give that an try :(

Thanks !
I tried ##### (also uEFI) with Snow Leo install and it worked (XPC not). I now will try your listed steps for 10.7.
##### DL Link some posts before, if others cant use XPC.
##### is more new than XPC and also listed as 10.7 usable.

I tryed ##### and it works with SL but no luck with vanila Leo. XPC does not seem to work on both.

I will have to get a spare hdd drive to do a little more testing.

The method works as described. Some tweaks might be necessary for all the components to get recognized properly. In my case the video card 8800 shows as 7300 and memory seems to be missing :)

Message sent from Lion Hackintosh ;)

Let me get this straight ...

The current methods being described are ONLY for Intel hacks, right ?

I mean AMD systems are NOT going to work UNTIL a kernel is developed by some genius, right ?

This would be a godsend. I tried XPC but I do not believe I am doing it right.

A proper tutorial would be most appreciated.

Are you running the command prompt as Administrator? Try formatting the portable drive yourself to FAT32.

when run this Instruction, only on the "Old" P35 and P45 Chipset and with Socket 775 Prozessor.
Not run with P55 Chipset and i3/i5/i7 Prozessors.

This is not the optimal Result for Lion 10.7 run on a Hackintosh.

Hav anyone a Idea, we can install Lion 10.7 on a P55-Board with i5-650 Intel-Prozessor ?

Thank you for Tips.
