Everything work fine,

except a big general performance decrease, (tested with parallel desktop 6, cinebench 11 and geekbench),

and in my case the app store crash if i click the update button

back to 10.6.5.

Happy New Year to all here :)

I wonder what's up with the AppleHDA.kext?

Do we need to patch it for a particular audio device (e.g. ALC 888, ALC 889, etc.)?

AppleHDA 1.7.9 was and is loaded before and after the update for my ALC889 for what it worth.

I just updated , and my sleeps enabler works !! No need to remove it in my case . but if you are not sure , remove it , I just tested it , and it goes to sleep , and wakes with no problems ! I attached the screen shot of my system files

haha. I forgot to remove sleepenabler.kext, AGAIN.

Oh well, a quick way to disable it so you can get past the KP at boot is to use the following flag at boot.

pmVersion=0

Saves me having to get out of my seat to find a boot disc or pendrive to fix my laziness! :wacko:

Update with Gigabyte G41M-ES2L worked. No Sleep Enabler was used.

G41M-ESL

E8200

Nvidia 9800GT

Hi folks,

What about The Mac App Store, is good for us (Hackintosh)?

App Store works in the same way as iTunes on a Hackintosh as well.
