Hello my friend, how are you? So, why the LAN and Sound kext didn't load?? I don´t delete the fakecpuid, have a problem? thanks for your help!!!

Hi there, I'm fine thanks :)

How about you?

Put these kexts inside /EFI/Clover/kext/10.12 or /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other and make sure that you have Layout-ID set to 1 in your config.plist under devices>Audio.

and It's better to remove the FakeCPUID you don't need it anymore. If you want to have the correct Power Management use iMac18,1 or iMac18,2 SMBIOS without the FakeCPUID.

did the install on my x58 setup

no issues just install nvidia web driver (gtx 750ti)

also did a clean install on a backup drive , then migrated apps and data to it

ps : seems that the clean install boots a little faster

Hi friend, i tryed again but without result. I delete the fakecpuid before the upgrade, and the video was OK with the program ResXtreme but the LAN and Sound didn´t load. I tryed with the kext in  /EFI/Clover/kext/10.12 and /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other, but no result. I don´t understand this part "make sure that you have Layout-ID set to 1 in your config.plist under devices>Audio." I searched in my config plist but i don´t found. Thanks for your help my friend!!!!

Send me your EFI folder and I will take a look at it to see what's wrong. You can remove the "APPLE" folder, Serial Number and "themes" folder.

Yes it will be the latest update in the App Store.

You need to remove all the previous macOS Sierra installers though.

I personally compress them and then remove the install macOS.app so the new installer will be downloaded to Applications folder instead of updating the previous installers.

Yay, worked without problems.

The folder you posted is missing the SMBIOS info and some other , and since you use an unsupported app for post installation I'm afraid I can not help you with it. (it is against the forum's rules to support/discuss certain apps and tools)

Unless you send me the EFI folder that you are currently using, If the folder's size is giving you problems with sending it you can remove these folders:

1. APPLE

2. Themes

Without these folders, the size should be small enough for you to attach them here.

I also need to know more about your hardware specs so please update your signature with your hardware details so people can know what your specs are :)

To answer your question about the GPU nVidia 10 series (Pascal) doesn't have native support in macOS and yo need to install nVidia Web Drivers. There is no support for macOS High Sierra YET so you need to wait a bit longer for nVidia to release the official drivers. (Which might not be released as soon as we hoped for).

Hi my friend, how are you? I'm sorry, I did not know about the rules of the forum. I understand, it's good to wait because the drivers are not released along with the system, correct? But for the Sierra, do you think that is a good choice on this board that I quoted? I deleted the folder that you told me and one of microsoft also, because I use dual boot and now it has to send. I will put the right hardware on my friend and once again I'm sorry for broke the rules. Thanks for your help again !!

For macOS Sierra 1080 and 1080 Ti are great choices, they are supported and you can install nVidia web drivers.

Here is a folder for you I made some adjustments and you can give it a try. Make sure you have a backup of your existing EFI folder just in case.

You can replace "BOOT" and "CLOVE" folder inside the /EFI/EFI/Clover/kext/10.12 or /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other folder and you need to keep "Microsoft" folder untouched so you can have your dual boot.

It's my pleasure to be able to help :)

The latest installer will always be in the app store so yes it will be 10.12.6 installer for macOS Sierra.

Without LAN it might be difficult to boot into macos after installation but if your LAN adapter is working fine in windows we can get it to work in macOS as well.

I had to go on a trip and I will be back tomorrow and when I'm back we will find a way to fix your audio and LAN without the clean install first ;)

As my issue is with Sierra i'll post here.

Does anyone know how to force delete an app from the trash?

Hold down the "Option" or "alt" key then empty the Trash.
