Apple unveils OS X 10.11 "El Capitan"

Apple today unveiled OS X 10.11 at its Worldwide Developers Conference, showing off the first major revision of the Mac's operating system since last year's Yosemite.

 

The new OS X is named "El Capitan".

 

Developers are being given a preview version of OS X El Capitan today and a public beta will be available this summer.

 

The final version will be available to the general public in the fall.

iTunes 10.2 is out, but guys i have one verry sad news...AppleMusic/Beats1 is NOT Working on hackintosh, same DRAM problem as whit Movies/Trailers.

Got confirmed by one more hackintosh user that AppleMusic/Beats1 is not working whit hackintosh!

It's not an Hackintosh issue. You have to subscribe if you want to listen to Apple Music. Beats1 on the other hand does not require subscription, it's free and works fine on Hacks :D

to me and my friend its not working :(

Have you subscribe to the 3 months trial offer ? Also, Beats1 should work even if you hadn't.

 

Otherwise, I have no clue about why it works fine for me and not for you… To be perfectly honest, the only thing that does not really work (only with 1 of my Hacks) is video clips. All other services works !

 

But I did subscribe to the 3 months trial offer and I already had an iTunes Match account (works fine too). So maybe it could be related :unsure:…

 

 

 

Audio HiJack works very well :dev:

Yes i did...on what cpu and gpu is that, because DRM problems are only on some CPUs/GPUs.

Core i5 4570 - MSI Geforce GTX 650 Ti 2 Gb on HDMI TV < - video clips doesn't work

Dell D830 - Nvidia Quadro NVS 135M 128 Mb < - laptop, no issues

 

But again, there's only video clips that refuse to play. Music is fine. That said, I agree that this issue could be DRM related.

Oh, tnx god its not DRM, this s*** require VPN.

Notes:

- A valid IP address or VPN is required to connect to the stream.


- VLC media player is currently unsupported.


- To listen to the stream in iTunes, go to File > Open Stream and replace "http://" with "itls://" in the stream URL

for those who use cDock to personalize their Dock... the last 8.3 works fine with 10.11

This update broke my hack

 

Make sure you make a backup guys

 

Kexts doesn't load i don't know why, ill post log once i have time
