After weeks of wondering "Did the Leopard dev team take a month off?" Apple has finally seeded the WWDC07 build of Leopard (Build 9A466) to developers via the Apple Developer Connection web site. This build is the same as the build on the DVDs that Apple distributed at WWDC07. As Apple has previously stated, the build is "feature complete" with all of the new bells and whistles, such as the new Finder, Quicklook, Spaces, and more.

The final build of Leopard will "hopefully" be released in October and the build is available to select and premier members only and is available now.

Has anyone else noticed that the MacBook seems to be running 25 degrees warmer in this seed than previous seeds?

Check the temperature reading in the BIOS first. Leopard might he be calculating it wrong.

I'm sure most of the people who wanted 9A466 already got it. :)

Macs don't have BIOS ;)

1) Leopard throttles the video card less to provide better 3D performance. This is probably responsible for the extra heat as the GPU is running a bit faster. Still not as fast as in WinXP on the Macbook Pro though.

2) Bluetooth still isn't working? I'm typing this from my bluetooth keyboard & mouse...

(Well, not exactly typing from my mouse, but you know what I mean...)

....Is that the Final build, to be officially released in October, that is available to select and premium members.....or are you talking about the recently seeded to ADC developers 9A466 build?

In other words, Leopard is being released (for retail) in October, Booshi.

Just remove the bluetooth preferences in the system folder, then everything works a treat. This happened because you upgraded I suspect rather than running a clean install.

i'm wondering when the final will be leaked. We would have to guess that the final build will be done in late august, or early sept. they are going to need time to package and ship it. So I hope we have a final version leaked in a couple of months. 9A466 is too buggy for me.. at least to use on my main computer, since I use it for work..
