I downloaded and burned the disc, but I do not know how to ... Someone can explain me how to use the disk? THX! Hey Kaly, I have a problem with the installation I think. I've sat and waited for the text screen to load up the language selector thing and it never has. Is the text just supposted to sit there like it does? or is it supposed to be a continuous flow? I get to the part where the dvd starts and I hit the "-v" and enter. and it runs the first set of things, the screen goes blank and then the little white text starts and pretty much stops just as instantly. it gets a full oage of it in less than like a second. but it stops right after that. is that a problem or am I just supposed to wait forever??? Installation passes without problems, but after installation there were at least 5 problems: 1. Most the basic - in all emerging menus is not present any text, is filled simply in by white colour 2. Interface language - English though at installation I chose Russian as the basic language, but, I think, I will probably solve this problem if I will cope with the first. 3. The soundcard does not work for me Intel 82801IB ICH9 - HDA 4. Does not work Wi-Fi 5. Whether it is possible to force to work bioprotection? In advance many thanks for answers! Try to boot with -s flag, then type in shell: mount -uw / ./movevideodrivers Answer yes to all questions, then type 'exit' and try to load. I was wondering if anyone could tell me wat the best and easiest way to install OS X on it is. I have done so before, but it kept crashing. For my first install, I used the Kalyway install. Everything worked fine except the webcam and Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi card is the Intel 5100, which I understand is under development. For my second install, I used iPC. It was even worse, but I didnt have to go through the whole update thing with backing up me Kexts. The ethernet didnt work, sound didnt... etc. On both installs the webcam didnt work. Help would be greatly appreciated. Again my two questions: What is the best way to installl OSx86 on the Toshiba Satellite A305-S6872, and how do I get the webcam to work. I have been trying to install OS X Leopard 10.5.2 using Darwin bootloader and have been unsuccessful. I did all the partitioning steps i think (freed up some unallocated space, used the id=af command in diskpart, ...), also I've tried all the commands in darwin bootloader ("-v", "-x", "cpus=1"...). I had exactly the same problem with the IPC 10.5.6 then I tried Ideneb and it worked! So I can't tell you anything else than maybe trying another image or re downloading the image you have! rampage537 Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 I am install installing xp and osx, I followed these directions to a T (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Installation_Guides/Kalyway_DualBoot_10.5.2) but they are a little unclear when it comes to dual harddrives. In the bootloading section it says to use tboot so i added that as directed. I reboot and get "No HFS partition found" there is so much info on the forums not sure what to follow, sorry new to this. Is a i7 running Asus P6T Deluxe MB, SAS primary drive, Sata2 Secondary (dual Partition 250GB each) this is where I plan to run OSX. Been reading eveything I can and would like to try this. Found the torrent and downloaded the DVD, tried to burnt it but something is wrong. I get an error "the selected image file isn't valid". Tried buring it with Nero and it also gave me an error but still let me burn it but I can only can see 2 files on teh DVD, Boothelp.txt and cdboot.pcefi.debug. What am I doing wrong.
