It seems apple just keep cranking out these updates because I've got another one for ya:

 

Security Update 2008-002

 

The Leopard version comes in at a whopping 50MB, the PPC at 68MB, and the Universal update tops the rest at 103MB! Seems like quite a few holes patched.

just installed this on my Toshiba A100 hackintosh and it is safe... below are my specs

 

system specs:

Running Mac OS X 10.5.2 with Darwin 9.2 kernel

Used Kalyway 10.5.1 install disc + Kalyway 10.5.2 updater

Using vanilla kernel with pc_efi v8

I'm not sure it is even necessary to report anymore, but FWIW... My machine updated flawlessly. None of the 1st reboot drama that has been mentioned.

 

Kalyway 10.5.2, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 Rev 2.1, Core 2 Duo E6750, etc...
