i wish there were more options. like school grades? but i suppose that is too specific.

I like this idea:keep that on your mind....Another will be:what do you do for a living?.I do not know...What do you think?. :D

Dude, you know you're a geek when you include "Main Operating System" in demography!

There should be more options: what version of Windows/dist of Linux?

I have Windows Server 2003 Enterprise (heavily modified to look like Vista and behave like XP) + OpenSUSE 10.3.

  • 2 weeks later...

A couple of remarks:

If this poll is a true projection of members demographics:

1)People under 18 are 35%, high, but lower than I expected.

2)Only 3 people use Linux as their main OS?

3)Which "other" OS does that 1 person use? It can't be Solaris, that would be "Other Unix". Every other OS goes under the definition of "hobby OS" (that means in fact "toy OS"): BeOS, Haiku, SkyOS, Syllable and similar.

4)Nobody using BSDs? They would go under "Other Unix"

Would OpenDarwin be under that, it isn't OS X, or FreeBSD?
