You may have a bad copy/bad burn? Also, you need to press F9 when booting and select to boot from your Hard Drive for it to work. If you do not, you will get the com.apple.boot.plist error, this is the most likely cause of your issue. SmoothOp
I have a TX1140ea tablet pc and have installed Leo4all V3 ....unfortunately the V2 did not want to install in no way whatsoever! So.. I have ethernet working with the Forcedeth V pkg, sound with azalia, correct screen res with the Nvidia kexts from the TX1000 zip file (tried removing the IONDrive kext but had to put it back after no booting at all after) also installed the PS2Controller kext after having big trouble booting , it only booted if Synaptics Touchpad V.6.3 came up during verbose mode. Wifi still no go but i use the Sitecom 3ooN dongle with some drivers I found on their site (railink 2870 usb from some other dongle) it really goes fast so I'll stick with it for the time being I still have several problems on booting as the 'IOKit waiting for quiesce' sometimes freezes , looking around it's something to do with the network card so maybe i have to disable it from the bios...will be trying this later, meanwhile if anyone has any ideas about this small matter i would be grateful. All in all mac os x goes really fast and smoothly so I'm trying things out on tiptoe so as not to have to install again! I have never used mac in my life before so it's enjoyable to try this out . Skype functions with usb phone though no audio through on board headphones, MP4 play fine, as does iTunes with my iPod Touch (which is what set me on to Mac), multi media reader works with anything put in it , express card.....haven't tried this yet but i will soon. SmoothOp
I'm wondering if this IOkit waiting for quiesce business could be that I boot with my wireless switch off....?? As i don't use it obviously...but maybe Leopard wants it on?.....Hmmm will look deeper into this on various boots Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87077-hp-tx1000z-tablet-compatibility-with-leopard/page/20/#findComment-767034 Share on other sites

DuperMan
Bump-tozaurus. From what I gather (gonna state the obvious now) QE/CI won't work on cards without dedicated memory unless a driver is written specifically... What American Yellow said sounds like it might be the solution, if somewhat far fetched, so now it's a waiting game for end users and power users and hopefully a wonderful race for prestige for developers;) Anybody up to speed on the shared mem ATI projects? I guess unless Yellow's mate runs circles 'round us understanding-technology-wise its probably mostly a matter of fooling the ATI driver into bitching the Nvidia around... => hardware id's fixing. It's only feasible since there's a slight chance that some ATI card speaks/uses the same opengl version our 6150's do... @American Yellow DUUUUUUUUUUUUDE! Sorry for sounding agitated, it's just that, you know, the tx is a sweet toy and so is leo on it;) @all Anyone knows of a software abstraction/emulation project for qe/ci?O_o Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87077-hp-tx1000z-tablet-compatibility-with-leopard/page/20/#findComment-767567 Share on other sites

wyzazz
@Alex Impossible??!! I doubt that, if a driver can be created for Windows and Linux, one can be created for OSX. It may be harder than a card that has dedicated RAM, but I can't believe it would be impossible. the_29
But Diabolik (which was/is a developer of natit and nvkush) said that they didnt get it (QE/CI on shared NVidia) worked since 2 years.. So, i dont think that there will be sth in future! Or maybe the new macbook go a nvidia shared card instead of the intel.. (that would be great). An other problem is, that the most development teams doesnt release their sources! So others developer could learn from it (see ati shared driver). me@home
bad news... I had not too much luck with my "new" laptop either. A HP NC 6320 with C2D, GMA950, Intel 945 but ALWAYS had to disable 1 core (in bios) to get it running, just deleted it and again installed Windows...though Eye TV is sooooo much my nr. 1 DVB-T progy at work... Needless to say fully working CI + QE with 1400x1050, nice ! Maybe another release will work it out for this one or we get Leo4allV2 WITH hack graphic driver for our baby TX ... both laptop have 4Gb ram and well that would be fine for Leo.
