rob356
Remember that XPS from Dell that looked allot like an iMac? Well according to a report from MacRumors, the Computer Manufacturing company is now going for more style in their products. And Dell isn't alone. Manufacturers like Sony are starting to clue in as well. Finally someone realizes one of the reasons why Apple has been becoming more popular, Atheistic Appeal. nagal
Gateway has their stylish PC out for a couple months now? Not sure how long but it is called the One http://www.gateway.com/programs/one/ Nice to finally see an attempt at style in the PC world. Notice I said attempt as I do not find the Gateway or the Dell attractive at all but that is just my opinion.

Colonel
The Dell All-In-One has alot more power than the iMac, but the iMac has alot more style than the Dell. Take your pick. Power or Pretty....

Power or Pretty.... Strange, I always thought Dell All-In-ones were printers. But as for the Dell XPS One, it is not that much better (if at all) than the iMac. rollcage
The Dell All-In-One has alot more power than the iMac, but the iMac has alot more style than the Dell. Take your pick. Power or Pretty.... The Dell's processor is a 2.2 C2D, right? So you could either either get a 2.0 C2D iMac with 2 gigs of ram for $100 less than the Dell, an iMac with a 2.4 C2D processor and 1 gig of ram for the same price as the Dell, or an iMac with a 2.4 C2D processor and 2 gigs of ram for $150 more than the Dell. Not to mention that the Dell has an integrated video card on those models, while the iMac has an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory on the 2.2 C2D models and a ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory on the 2.4 C2D models. I'd rather have a slightly slower processor and and non-integrated video card, so the iMac sounds like a better deal to me.
idividebyzero
Manufacturers like Sony are starting to clue in as well. Sony starting to get a clue? 1996: http://www.notebookreview.com/assets/12169.jpg (2 years before Apple ditched beige) 1997: http://www012.upp.so-net.ne.jp/superotacky...cv-t700mr-2.JPG 2002: http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/pc/docs/200...09/sony4_jx.jpg 2004: http://blogs.hoytecnologia.com/media/vaio.jpg (that keyboard looks familiar) 2005: http://www.thegadgetblog.com/wp-content/So...oVGCRA72PL2.jpg 2006: https://shop.sonystyle-europe.com/catalog/4...0002BC29B85.jpg Sony has been doing this longer than Apple. They were the first ones to look at computers as something other than boring office tools. Theyve never copied Apple for anything when it comes to design either, something not many companies can say, they have always had their own sense of style. Sony goes for more of a futuristic look while Apple goes for more of a casual less assuming look. Dell on the other hand is a disaster. It will take them years to recover from the most horrendous computer EVER made. Even the trackpad has LED's.

iPirate
Lemme guess, the "One" means it only comes with the intent to run "One" OS? And that being Windows? And the chin factor way waay outweighs the large chin-ness of the iMac.
