Bonkey
just wondering. what is gonna be the ease level of rev. 2? would i be able to give a disc to my parents and tell them to put it in and boot and install? will all the kexts be fixed already and put in already? sound? wireless internet/internet alone? What do we have to look forward to? Zeph and i are working on it. there are still a couple things that need to be done before it will be released. so nothing new actually. just relax and enjoy Rev1. le_baron
I replaced the AppleNForce.kext on the REV1 CD with the one from medevil. I am able to boot the cd but just behind the dnsResponder the cd is rebooting and rebooting. Do i missed something ? I did only a replacement of the kext, because of my nforce5 sata drive. I replaced the kext in the directory /System/Library/Extensions/IOATAFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns. Kericoul Maybe you need the proper Kext for Nforce4 Ultra? Thats what your board has apparently. http://de.shuttle.com/fr/desktopdefault.as...169_read-10611/ Did you select a supportive kext during installation? I can't remember if Zephyroth's had the proper kext in the DVD. Rev2 of Zepyroth's DVD might add support. Try looking through these threads for an answer?:http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...2BNforce4+Ultra I wish i could help you more.
