jetztsofort
I was looking for "mount", "mount disk" etc., but when I type s.th. like: mount -t hfs /dev/disk0s0 the Terminal lists the usage of mount. I read this way on one of the first pages in this thread. Where's my mistake? Thanks, very much. habib
FYI, I've made a ppf patch for iATKOS 1.0i (not 1.0ir2) installation DVD. It still needs post install manipulations: - replace mach_kernel - adding necessary kexts - decrypt binaries so u need working mac os x installation for it. is it needed to test for someone? jetztsofort
Hey guys, now I wanted to mount my harddisk, but when I start the install -> utilities -> terminal and type: mount /dev/hda/ /hd I get "No such file or directory" I'm searching and trying now since two hours getting my harddisk. Can you help me? Chris Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73524-new-amd-dvd-for-leopard/page/64/#findComment-569932 Share on other sites
jetztsofort
Okay, I just read, that I have to start the installer with -s and then I have to type in mounting-code. But I have an unformatted partition, which I would like to mount. So what does the terminal-code looks like? The code, I found on the second page of this thread is for a HFS-Partition: mount -uw / mount -t hfs /dev/disk0s2 /Volumes (Response: No such file or directory) So what's the code for an unformatted partition? Thanks very much, Chris Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73524-new-amd-dvd-for-leopard/page/64/#findComment-570033 Share on other sites

cgsheen
Has anyone got a Realtek ALC880 working? I'm trying another Zephyroth install on an nvidia 6100/430 s939 motherboard It's also got the infamous RTL8201PHY onboard LAN... Any sucesses there? I have to get one or the other up - it's a mATX board and only one PCI slot left. It's either a LAN card OR a sound card...
