righteye
righteye UPD: 10.5.8 Kernel: 9.8.0 Never use Atiinject together with Natit, and never use 2 instances of Natit ... Try this tyanshow_Natit.zip there are 2 instances of Natit (use them separately) if one is working no need for the other one, also use the updated and patched kexts for 10.5.8 from here Up righteye !! Try this AkdM_New_Natit.zipRemember there are 2 instances of Natit; use them separately ... and the files for 10.5.8 update

righteye
i got another question...what is the most accurate way of obtaining EDID info... what program do u use under OSX and under windows it seems that he Edid i gave u above is incorrect..Different to windows... The EDID must be extracted from Windows and with the proper drivers installed using Phoenix EDID Designer As regarding the mouse artifacts ... hmmm ... possible to be from the EDID or from Atindrv that is not patched. It is just my guess.
haris2887
ok i fixed the resolution and the MOuse cuorsor it was the EDID which was bad i used the tool you specified earlier to get the correct EDID and put it atiinject and BAM! full resolution everything working full hardware Acceleration etc.. but one PROBLEm after like 3 mins the screen starts to glitch and shake .. how do i know my ATINdrv.kext and radeonx1000.kext etc is patched correctly ... i just downloaded it from first page and used Kext helper to install

haris2887
the files supplied in the first postfor 10.5.8 dont work... the ATIradeonx1000.kext there is not place in that file to put your EDID.. 4ATINdrv.zip.. the file is not even complied properly to KEXT format...it is just a zip file with a folder inside.. to fik... add .kext extension at the end of atindrv vfolder. install atiradeonx1000.kext also use the atiinjection from older packages.... WORKING in 10.5.

righteye
UP Edit: Ah ! Another question: I can't Dual Screen too :/ (If I plug in the cable while mac's booting ... bah, it won't boot (Black Screen) ). Thanks for dual screen you have to add this: <key>DFP1,EDID</key><data>and here goes the EDID for the second display</data> right under ore above the <key>LVDS,EDID</key><data>and here goes the EDID for the internal display</data> in the info.plist of the injector (atiinject or natit or evoenabler) after that you have to boot with the displays connected and never do the "detect displays" thing

righteye
Thanks righteye ! It works ! And, for my 1st question: How can I force enable Quartz Extreme ? So ... your system is 10.5.8 device id is 71D5 you get the native resolution but you can not get the Quartz Extreme What is says about Core Image (is something like Software supported ?) Try this files and use KextHelper to install the files. Just drag and drop the files after you decompress the archive. After that do not reboot ... from Utilities ... Disk Utility ... do a repair permissions on your root drive. It must work Cheers
