Colonel Ingus
The first update to Leopard has been released by Apple. Their documentation states that the free update fixes logging in with an account originally created in Mac OS X 10.1 or earlier that has a password of 8 or more characters, and also fixes some issues when connecting to some 802.11b/g wireless networks. The update also fixes issues when changing the password of a FileVault-protected account. tomozj
Grab it from here. I can confirm that this fixed absoloutely everything wrong with my system, including issues with the wireless and not being able to run the installer..? I had to use the installer from the Mac OSX Install Disk, with some hax. But that shouldn't be an issue for you. iestyn
It doesn't let me install, when I get to the "choose drive" screen, my disk is "not suitable for this update". Any reason why? I'm running 559, has anyone with 559 bypassed this? I want my airport to work properly! Grab it from here. I can confirm that this fixed absoloutely everything wrong with my system, including issues with the wireless and not being able to run the installer..? I had to use the installer from the Mac OSX Install Disk, with some hax. But that shouldn't be an issue for you. How did you manage this? Did you have the same problem as me?
