The first update to Leopard has been released by Apple. Their documentation states that the free update fixes logging in with an account originally created in Mac OS X 10.1 or earlier that has a password of 8 or more characters, and also fixes some issues when connecting to some 802.11b/g wireless networks. The update also fixes issues when changing the password of a FileVault-protected account.

I can confirm that this fixed absoloutely everything wrong with my system, including issues with the wireless and not being able to run the installer..?

I had to use the installer from the Mac OSX Install Disk, with some hax. But that shouldn't be an issue for you. :D

It doesn't let me install, when I get to the "choose drive" screen, my disk is "not suitable for this update".

Any reason why? I'm running 559, has anyone with 559 bypassed this?

I want my airport to work properly!

How did you manage this? Did you have the same problem as me?
