Superhai
Ok, I have had time to play a bit with my laptop with osx now. I installed with leopard iatkos r2 with darwinefi, Dell 1505 wireless-n (broadcom) works out of the box, also webcam and bluetooth. To get battery meter, i copied AppleACPIPowerSource into AppleACPI plugins directory and changed to the modified PowerManagment.bundle. Works perfect. So everything is ok. I replaced the darwinefi installed from the dvd with netkas pc-efi 8.0 and macgirls nvidia c.a.boot.plist. Copied 10.5.2 nvidia kext and opengl, the gfx now works fully, but bluetooth crashes as well as system profiler is not able to show the basic information now and reboot is not working anymore. I get bluetooth up and systemprofiler properly if i boot with -v. db.net
I've tried to get Time machine working on my external HD: I 've used Disk Utility to erase it and setted-up as my Time Machine backup. And when TimeMachine is supposed to make the 1st backup, I've got an error : "backup failed" (could not find the backup disk) Does someone use Timemachine ? Is it working ? if so which configuration is used ? ps: I cannot neither see my OSX system partition on my StartUp disk configuration but only Network Selector. Is it normal ? jake123
@macgirl Taurga is hard at work with the 9228 codec... He gave me some test kexts, which allowed use for the 2nd headphone jack, and the mic jack.... nothing worth switching to... yet, but I'm guessing he will have the speakers cracked in a few days. Anyways, have you seen any of the new updated 10.5.2 OpenGL Framework/NVidia kexts that have been updated, aka with a newer build of 10.5.2? HOPEFULLY it will solve the shutdown/sleep issue... but seriously sleep use to work, I couldn't shut down.... ranova
awesome, the m1330 is a few steps away from being a perfect hackintosh. Power of a macbook pro, but cheaper and smaller than a regular macbook! Needed mainly: Sleep\shutdown\restart scrolling on the trackpad Other smaller stuff: ethernet intel wireless cards play\stop\ffw\etc buttons Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65918-dell-xps-m1330-hardware/page/10/#findComment-610730 Share on other sites
ranova
ok... My sound stopped working through the speakers today. It was working fine yesterday. The only thing I changed after installing the ktext is edit the plist file to get the battery to show up in this kalyway install (changing the version from 1.0.5 to 1.1.0. I tried reinstallign the kexts, but it still doesnt work! someone please help me figure this out And how did you use AppleHDAPatcher with the codecs, it gives me: AppleHDA Patcher - 2006/2007 Taruga v1.16 _______________________________________________________ Codec : Vendor Id : Subsystem Id : _______________________________________________________ * Detected unsupported Codec When I drag either file, or both of them to it... I tried HDApatcher 1.15 to 1.20 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65918-dell-xps-m1330-hardware/page/10/#findComment-611363 Share on other sites
