Maybe someone at apple will take notice!

BUG 1

-When moving certain windows X Y coordinates appear in the middle of the screen (pretty sure its a os problem and not crossover)

picture1jq9.png

BUG 2

-Three strange icons are on the desktop that have no properties and only appear when selecting them

picture2st5.png

BUG 3

-Apple took the appletv os and stuck it in instead of front row forgetting certain phrases left in!

BUG 4

-CONSTANT AUTO CLICKING!!!!! no screens possible, this one sucks because you can't let the mouse hover over anything important

Please post bugs (and fixes) as they are found!

-Spaces makes your system REALLY slow

-Right clicking freezes mail/safari when you are trying to spell check a word.

- Trash takes forever to empty

- Wireless showed as connected, but it wasn't connected. I had to go into network diagnostics to get it to connect.

- My task bar on top froze.. when I go over sound, or time, or anything my mouse turns to the pinwheel

I head in one of these threads that people were bitching about the font. Go back to the DVD, and install the optional software. That fixes that.

I actually have Invisi-Icons on my desktop in 9A410, actually. Also, All of my mounted volumes have duplicate icons seemingly "drawn" on the desktop picture. If you turn off icons, they are still there but unclickable.

We'll see about 9A466 on Sat, as I'm having surgery tomorrow and won't be able to install it. :hysterical::thumbsup_anim:

Can't say I have experienced any of yours, apart from the front row / apple tv thing obviously.

One thing I did find was when dragging things to the dock, if your not careful the icons will move to let you drop it, and then quickly shift back, making you drop it

onto your desktop, its easily retrievable from between the icons without having to hide the dock, just a little querk(sp?).

Also, on first launch of iTunes, after accepting the agreement, it freezes, force quiting etc.. doesn't stop it, a logout/restart is required, After that itunes appears to work fine, has anybody

else experienced this?

Also Safari seems very unstable, just random crashes, I couldn't see a pattern, But after just general browsing, googling, email checking for 20mins, It crashed 6 or so times.

Has anybody successfully used time machine? I have been trying to use my external hd but doesn;t show as an option to back up to. and when i tr to backup to the same hd it gives me an error, do you need to wipe the external clean for it to work? Also the dock has a few issues, when i put my mouse over it and use magnification its not very smoothe, it looks like a game thats playing framerates over your refresh rate. This is on an imac g5 btw

I have time machine working. I had to format my external drive to do it.. but it works. Its kind of a waste of a drive. Anyway I don't really want everything I delete being saved. You know those nights you came home drunk, downloaded some porn, and then deleted it.. it was deleted for a reason. :hysterical: just kidding.

but I did get it to work.

Just discovered a "bug" in stacks, When new applications are added (in this case, adium) and you have your applications folder in stacks, The icon will show as a no icon thing until you logout or restart.

See attachment.

Not happening here, I symlinked my old iTunes library and started iTunes.

Agreement, first setup, iTunes starts normally.

I've found that I can add bluetooth devices (Except my wireless Apple keyboard) but the Bluetooth service hangs on shutdown.

A few random app silent crashes. "Where did Adium go?"

Mail did not enjoy when I tried to import old settings and mailboxes. And since I had only had Leo installed for about an hour I did a fresh install and that fixed the problem.

Quicksilver's "Don't display on Dock" option doesn't work, but at least the icon looks all reflecty and cool.

The network browser does not work, but iTunes sees local shared libraries.

Spaces is smooth. Time Machine is smooth. The fonts look nice. Leo is at least as fast as Tiger.

The test maching is a MBP C2D 2.33 with 2 gigs of Memory from December.

If anyone wants me to test any specific programs just let me know and I'll do it for you.

I don't seem to be able to change which application I want to be used to open a specific file type. I want VLC to open MP3-files instead of iTunes but I can't change it the usual way in "Get Info". Also I want .nfo-files to be opened by TextEdit or Smultron but I can't change that either.

Does anybody else have the same problem? And does anyone know if you can change it some other way in the Terminal or a config file?

Copying files from another OSX share is painfully slow...

Around 2 - 3 hours for a 360MByte movie!!!

Also still no A2DP bluetooth profile whereas it is already available in Win XP..

Copying files over what kind of connection? I was copying movies from my desktop to my MBP using Wireless and a full 800 meg movie takes like 30 minutes.

And Win XP isn't in Beta right now, is it? So why compare the two?

i think many people have this but i dont know if it's a bug or not

when i start up leopard i have the downloads folder in the dock and its a folder with an arrow on it

i download something, use it, then drag it out of the folder. then the downloads folder is just an arrow in the dock, the folder behind it has disappeared. is it supposed to be this way because why isnt there just an arrow right when it starts up?

Bugs I found in 9a466 (macbook 1.83GHz core duo, 2GB RAM):

Blue tooth pairing with my cell phone didn't work. Hanged system preferences so badly that I couldn't kill it even from the command line. I had to press the power button to shut down.

I managed to pair my phone using istumbler. However "missing sync for windows mobile" which syncs the contacts, mail, to do list, music, files, etc did not work (it started fine but did not sync).

Mail hanged also a couple of times. I could not kill it from activity monitor or command line either.

Google earth wasn't working.

Papers 1.1 showed as unregistered and hanged when tried to re-register.

My Garmin GPS did connect to Garmin Training Center and transfered the last workout. However, training center crashed after that. After I restarted it i noticed the data was transfered.

I see pictures above in this thread of frontrow but I could not start that. The apple remote only works with keynote. No frontrow started from the remote.

iAlertu didn't seem to work properly either.

Had also issues with Adium in a second user hanging when asking me if i am sure I want to make it the default messenger. However, the buttons in the dialog were all inactive and then was crashing.

Safari crashed consistently when right clicking or attempting to log into forums like this one, etc.

Bookends would crash when started; not usable.

Canon Image browser would hang not starting.

Gimp would crash at start; not usable.

Onyx won't work with Leopard (understandable).

Pac the man X would crash on start.

Activity monitor was not able to kill a dead app (not all the time; see above). This has happened consistently forcing me each time to powerdown from the powerbutton and powerup again. I found this the most annoying bug.

I have about 122 apps and most other apps worked fine. Many asked for the registration key again.

If I did not mention them here, they worked. Spaces worked fine for me.

Although looks pretty, and coverflow and quicklook in finder seem pretty functional, I decided to not use it on my system as a main OS.

Mail hangs at "checking connection to smtp.gmail.com" when setting up my gmail account whether using auto or manual setup.

Installation of iStat Menus was... very glitchy to say the least, but they still work great!

I can't get the network menu to work properly though.
