t3mur
So June 11th is really like here.. So it got me thinking about the BETA, and if it would be the exact same as the final version would be, just with bug fixes. What do you guys think?
erbic
It's supposed to be feature-complete. Meaning that Apple won't be adding any new features etc, but they'll be working primarily on bug-fixes. It's possible (and probable) that we may see a few more developer releases before October as Apple fixes stuff and improves what they've already put into Leopard. macprodan
A better Question would be, Will we see the New if there is one GUI in this release or will they make us wait some more. It hurts so bad now knowing what we will get.
rollcage
If I was Apple, I would put in a crappy, cheap looking theme in the beta release, then replace it in the final release with something amazing. But I would guess that the new UI (if there is one), will be in the beta so that they can work out any bugs that might occur with it.

Dr. Heckles
What's the deal with thieves willing to steal software worth quite a bit but not willing to spend a few coins on a DL DVD?
rollcage
What's the deal with thieves willing to steal software worth quite a bit but not willing to spend a few coins on a DL DVD? I guess if you want it for free, you want it for free.
neckarb
i'm hoping for (very unlikely) a multi touch UI for mac os along with some new multi touch ACD's or iMacs
projectle
Personally, I would rather just expand an image like this to an iPod or another hard drive temporarily and do the install from there. Then, you really aren't wasting anything!
MacVertigo
When I said I hoped that it will fit on a single layer DVD, I just ment the release on monday.. I plan on buying the final in October. Paranoid Marvin
I should bloody well hope so! Anyway... If they were to release Leopard as is, with just bug fixes, it would be a disapointment We want new features worth spending money on - not gimicks!
