I went back to the first beta, I have everything that works, so all this need to use the beta 2, I don't see the need, the system is stable, so I'll stay with this, I'll wait for other betas, if I restore the AppleHDA kext, in this case I'll update, otherwise NO!...

For those interested in going back with the first beta, it is not necessary to format, update directly above the beta 2.

Can someone look at this post here for me and offer some help. If I can get the usb done right, then I can create a USBMap.kext that I can use in Tahoe as well.

How can I use oclp-mod without a network connection?
I wanted to try it on my iMac 14.2

I don't understand how you can install the KDK for Beta 1 on the Tahoe Beta 2. I immediately got an error message.

And if I did manage to install this KDK, did I get an internet connection with it? The OCLP mod requires an internet connection for the root patch.

 

Addendum anto65: Was the USB repaired after installing the KDK, and did you do this on the B1 or beta2? And did the oclb-mod root patch also work?

The question about L-WN725N is that I have one here and would like to test it.
Is it possible to test L-WN725N even if I have a WiFi solution (BCM94360NG) in the setup?

Sure I have twice working, AX 211 and TP-Link   Good Lucky my friend!! But I recommend you use only one of them.

I think it's because a network connection is absolutely necessary and Chris1111

have you tested this on an original iMac or on a Hacintosh ?

Good thing it has no negative impact on my well-functioning Sequoia 15.6 Beta 2.

Good thing it has no negative impact on my well-functioning Sequoia 15.6 Beta 2.

I test on Hackintosh Laptop HP Elitebook 840 G4 with an Eterneth cable 

unplug my Eterneth cable after installing WIFI usb and voila

I just stop doing my daily hack with Tahoe, I tried to install in a Real Mac (17 inches MacBook Pro Late 2011 - 8,3) but I get no acceleration in Intel Graphics HD 3000.

 

Waiting for the Team Dortania to build an version that works.. I tried everything.

I don't have wired internet, only Wi-Fi, which doesn't work in Tahoe 26 beta 2 (Both my adapters are ASUS USB-N13 and WIFI/BT: BCM94360 FENVI FV-HB1200 AC PCI-E adapters). Is it possible to somehow apply OCLP-Mod 2.6.5 locally and what is needed for this?

Easy installation of Wifi using @chris1111 app and @laobamac_yyds OCLP mod. Did not have to change anything in my EFI. Using the Netgear A6150 USB dongle

I am using an EFI downloaded from a post on this site. It uses a iMac20,2 SMBIOS and has settings for a UHD 360 in the config. I am using a 10 Gen CPU with no iGPU. The only display is from the RX 570. I haven't come across any 'black screens' so far. The installation of Beta 2 went smooth and reached login with no USB.

Yes, thank you very much. I wanted to link to your post but couldn't find it afterwards. It's still a work in progress for me as I need to work more on USB. Everything seems stable though. Good testimonial.

 

If I lived in England, I would definitely want to make it to a DreadZone concert.

That would be better to avoid instaling/including kexts that are not AppleHDA dependencies

How do I know it is my EFI Folder? It contains my personal generated eSaFNVMeName.kext.

The kext was created to rename the NVMe Controller From Generic to Apple.

Another clue, in Misc/Entries, the Windows Entry there was formulated for my setup so I don't know how these two settings are appearing on your machine. If all looks well, then that is a bonus.
